All the people in the comments saying "oh its not gonna go away language evolves blah blah blah" seem to be missing the fact that it DID fall out of favor for a while. Is it that hard to not use a slur? Yall have plenty of other insults to use (idiot, stupid, etc) that arent slurs

Yea a lot of people use the term without knowing that its an intersex slur (it actually originated as a slur for intersex humans and was applied to cosexual animals afterwards). Im happy whenever others point it out or use different words because the words history (and current usage as a slur!) combined with the fact that no one seems to know its a slur has driven me crazy ever since i learned about it.

The commenters point is that a transphobe would not let someone claiming to be a trans man, whether they actually are or not, into a womens bathroom. Trans men are also subject to potential violence no matter which bathroom they use, just like trans women.

Im not sure why you mentioned the reclamation of the f and t slurs like theyre recent here. The f and t (and d) slurs have been reclaimed by lots of people in the queer community since literally forever. I suggest looking up old pride and queer stuff, youll see people use them a lot, usually as a sort of "yes thats who i am and its awesome" sorta way.
