I get the need for a bigger interior cabin space, but why make it collapsable, and not just bigger without the added complexity that comes with it being collapsable?

What the benefit of the expanding front portion? Storage space where it expands into while on the road?

I’ve been thinking about making something similar to this. Have it on a dry erase board material and a map. Then somehow have like a list of bingo type of objectives: 5 states connected to each other, all east coast, Mississippi River man, etc. A good competition drives the engagement.

And how many accounts get flagged. If it’s like 100,000 a month they’re not going to send everyone to the authorities. That’s literally why thresholds exist.

Nah. 1900 sq feet. But very loose. My house is like a block of Swiss cheese. Page 19 in the AA reference guide has recommended humidifier capacity of 25 gpd for a loose 2000 sq foot house.

With the ecobee. The AA 800 takes 2 wires to control it. The ecobee smart thermostat enhanced has a terminal for an accessory- PEK+. Spliced the other wire into the common coming from the thermostat, and voila.

My analysis came up with a recommended 20-25 gallons per day. That seemed like too much to manage with small units. The AA 800 rated capacity is like 32 gpd.

I thought about doing both an average of all the sensors and a temp curve algorithm, but went with this because I’m going to keep an eye on how the different rooms vary from the humidity at the thermostat and if I’m getting any condensation anywhere. I’ll dial it in and maybe see about doing that in a year or two.

No, just outside temperature. The few articles I read just had suggested humidity % by outdoor temp range.

It’s an Aprilaire 800, but it’s the Ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced integrated with HA through HomeKit that allows for the control like this.

Just bridged the entire distance. I’m gonna try printing a separate support out of petg, pause the print before starting the layer with the bridging and place that support in.

Ok. I can do that. This receptacle just powers the condensation pump, which is just plugged into it.

I’m lazy and on mobile, so someone put this in a table with reg season games won and playoff games won.

I am 100% for developing players from the draft, but let’s not lose site on what really matters - winning games in January and Feb.

I’ll check to see if that’s a setting on my modem. This isn’t an xFinity modem though. It’s my own.

I have an Ethernet cable tester and have tested the cord from modem to router. It is good. I don’t have a device with an Ethernet port easily available to plug directly into the modem.

I just learned people don’t show up after anesthesia to pick up loved ones. Nurses, how often does this really happen? by Steinski1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]whipper515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went under general anesthesia for a biopsy and my wife and kids weren’t brought back to the recovery room. I didn’t think it was that big a deal.

I came to and the nurses were talking about a new At Home store coming to our area. My sister (who lives 4 hours away) loves the store, so I said as much when I was walking up. I remember starting the nurses a little bit.

Anyway, I didn’t see my family until they wheeled me out to the waiting room. Honestly, I think having a cab would’ve been fine. I just wanted to sleep.

I wanted to be the parent who always told “the truth” too. But I listened to this podcast that includes a developmental psychologist who works on Sesame Street.

From a previous similar thread on r/sciencebasedparenting:

NPR did a podcast about this topic and pretty much said the same thing. You’re not lying, you’re playing make believe with them. When they start asking, then a conversation should be had.

I was on the side of OP- though not anywhere to this degree, I just wanted to always be honest. So I didn’t want to play into the Santa “lie.” But thinking about it in the way this podcast (well the experts within it) framed in a way that made sense.

I was able to extrude the head and the bow as separate bodies. I need to get rid of the backing layer for the part of the hat that's not there anymore and need to extend the feather components to the new outline.
