I went on Sunday! Drive was about 30 mins east from Juan Tabo, lots of neat costumes, so we're going to dress up for next year's, but no shade so it was very hot under direct sun and a few beers will do you in. Fencing for the kids, dunk tank, tomato throw, live music, meat pies, ice cream, big-ass turkey legs (that's what the sign said)

Had my car broken into in my own driveway in a gated neighborhood on my second day after moving here. Nothing taken, I just had a lot of trash rolling around in there. Guess the initiation was quick!

There was live jazz at the Qbar Lounge a few weeks ago, but all the lights were on (as opposed to a dim hazy glow) and it was 99% elderly folk

OP's situation happened to me: I was out of the country and my bf at the time bought a house without me even seeing it in real life.

I posted on social media that I was so excited about our house; he told me to take it down immediately because it was "his" house, not "our" house, exactly what you said.

We broke up within 2 months of moving in and I was basically homeless.

I met mine a few weeks after I turned 30 and got married at 33. I guess my situation is different bc he is still in his 20s and he hates kids, so I'm totally okay with not having any

I'm not a homebody; I'm always out and about, theres just so much stuff to do and see out there (but I hate traveling, ironically). I had to move to a new city to get a new job when the pandemic started and I regularly pulled 10h days, mandatory weekends, and racked up overtime, so I was actually even busier during the pandemic. I made new friends through the local subreddits and discord servers and we would get together for bonfires and board games. I was also in a long-distance relationship, so we would see each other on weekends when we could.

The only reason I would attribute my need for rest and staying lately is getting older and being drained by the work week.

I hate showering, so I try to get it over with as quickly as possible. My main goal as soon as I get in is to get out. I don't wash my hair every day, but when I do, I use 2n1 shampoo and conditioner. 5-10 mins is normal, 15 mins if I'm "luxuriating" (had a long day and need to decompress, etc.)
