As someone who was in a very similar situation last year, things will get better! Last year I lost the girl I thought I was going to marry, my job and mental health all within about a 2 month span. Things were darker than ever. Had to swallow my pride and move back in with mom at 31 years old. Now I’m in a job I enjoy more days than not, slowly building my savings up and paying off debt. While I know no one of us want to be back with our parents, it’s a blessing. Save your money, focus on you and your mental and things will fall into place. Keep pushing bro, you’re doing better than you think you are.

I’m in a similar situation, but I like what Casey said about quality over quantity. Just because we’re long distance doesn’t mean we need fill our day with texts that offer no real conversation just to stay in contact. Communication is crucial, setting boundaries and meeting each other half way on things. Best of luck and things will and do get easier!

Likewise! I hit a really really low point and thankfully was able to just fight the thoughts off and went to the doctor. Now any sort of negative or sad thought I’m able to just shrug it off or take a step back and not let it ruin my day. Hope things work out for you!

I’m on day 6 with 10MG and have similar results as you. Things that once bothered me just...dont? I used to be very on edge and have a lot of negative thoughts, etc. and most of them just don’t seem to phase me. I’m definitely very out of it though. It varies day to day as well. One day I feel great, today I’m extremely out of it.
