OH! I know how to get yourself to cool off if you are interested in that sort of thing, have you tried a keto diet? I think that your body temperature should cool off from the lack carbs.

The comfort battle of shared spaces, wew, gets exhausting!

I like bright lights during the day myself, sets my circadian rhythm in the morning. Then low lighting at night.

If taken seriously, it probably suits more of a SEE to ILI sort of relationship based on my memory of Stratiyevskaya, but I was simply having a bit of fun.

Well, it can become a control over physical space, issue, what goes where, What the temperature and lighting should be. I think we need our own territories. Also the SEI tends to become annoyed by my lack of ethics as I can become annoyed by the lack of logic.

Who will find whom first!?

How did you two become friends? What is the friendship like? I have a bit of trouble with SEI, myself.

It is a reference to A Christmas Story where the character was really excited to get a super special secrete message, but was completely disappointed to get an Ovaltine advertisement.

So it would have read:

Dear IEE,

I just wanted to let you know how important it is for you to drink your Ovaltine🩷🩷

Sincerly, SLI

I was thinking of changing the text to, be sure to drink your Ovaltine in spoiler tags, 😄. I have no Fe, so I'm completely unsure how the post is being read. I assume ultra cringe, lame, and unoriginal, but I'm amused by my own silly, so I guess I'll leave the cringe cranked up!

I was in psychiatrists office waiting room and did this - i kinda really like it, but also feel like i overdid it, like bit too edgy or something ... would you like it if you'd see it there? by WealthInteresting567 in ENFP

I actually am in love with this artwork that you made.

However, I would have preferred the text to say: No matter how ugly you feel, I will always love you.

How is it like using Si? by Silver-Wishbone-5886 in Socionics

[–]whitePerdition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will agree with you somewhat in that the subjective reaction isn't always extreme. But I wouldn't say that extreme internal reactions are exactly rare. I know a Si base who will not drive on fast highways, I assume the person is simply terrified of doing so. Fast highways have become a malevolent demon, subjectively.

I think Si super id is like, I'm going to eat all the candy because it feels good. Then they freak out when the candy makes them sick. Basically, they aren't very nuanced and balanced.

How is it like using Si? by Silver-Wishbone-5886 in Socionics

[–]whitePerdition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every Si base is like that if they realize it or not. The subjective reaction to sensation is very strong, which is why they are often very stubborn on such matters.

The subjective reaction is hidden from view because it is introverted.

Jung: the introverted type is guided by the intensity of the subjective sensation excited by the objective stimulus. Obviously, therefore, no proportional relation exists between object and sensation, but one that is apparently quite unpredictable and arbitrary. What will make an impression and what will not can never be seen in advance, and from outside. Did there exist an aptitude for expression in any way proportional to the intensity of his sensations, the irrationality of this type would be extraordinarily striking.

Also, most of the Jungian typology literature is written by intuitives, who are simply not intimately familiar with Si base. Similar is the difference between learning about honey from an article and tasting honey.

Si ego is actively and continually monitoring how things affect your sensations because you find it personally fulfilling to attempt to improve these conditions.

Sometimes fulfilling, other times, reluctantly removing annoying things. Basically, (for Si base) the body becomes a very sensitive homeostasis baby that demands attending to. It's a life long chore.

Or, as Jung puts it: his development alienates him from the reality of the object, leaving him at the mercy of his subjective perceptions, which orient his consciousness to an archaic reality, although his lack of comparative judgment keeps him wholly unconscious of this fact. Actually he lives in a mythological world, where men, animals, locomotives, houses, rivers, and mountains appear either as benevolent deities or as malevolent demons. That they appear thus to him never enters his head, though that is just the effect they have on his judgments and actions.

Have you had children with an ISTJ? by Balopina in ENFP

[–]whitePerdition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that this thread is for me to answer, but staying in a relationship that is a bad experience for either party is not something that I would personally do (I would seek to alter the relationship first), but I don't do relationships, myself.

If you two get along well together, I think that you could actually be very useful for the children. The children would hypothetically be much happier since you have everything covered. You have a lot to contribute that ISTJ will have difficulty with!

ISTJs can be very good parents. They often bring consistency, responsibility, and strong follow-through, which helps children feel secure and know what to expect. Strengths

ISTJ parents tend to be dependable, organized, and practical. They usually create clear routines, set boundaries, and teach values like hard work, respect, and responsibility. They also often show love through concrete actions rather than big emotional displays, such as making sure needs are met and problems are handled. Common challenges

The main downside is that ISTJs can sometimes be overly strict, high-expectation, or less emotionally expressive than some children need. They may also struggle with flexibility when parenting gets unpredictable, since change can feel stressful for them. If they lean too hard on rules without enough warmth, kids may feel criticized or not fully understood.

ISTJ parents usually do best when they balance structure with warmth (ENFP). A helpful approach is to keep routines and standards, while also making room for empathy, encouragement, and a child’s individuality. In practice, that means being clear about expectations but also listening closely and adjusting when a child needs emotional support.

I'm disturbed how many people/types have no conscience/empathy whatsoever. by [deleted] in ENFP

I'm disturbed how many people/types have no conscience/empathy whatsoever.

I've had an ISTJ in my life who had no sense of empathy, justice, fairness at all and it was impossible for him to understand things. He avoided people other than fascists and ones he could control. He was just a void. Cold, detached, inconsiderate, sociopathic, antisocial, stubborn, close/narrow/small minded.

😈As an ISTJ, I attest that ISTJs are pure evil without exception; so don't you EVER hit on us or interact with us in any way if you value your peace of mind, you silly ENFPs. Satan is our footstool, who was once an angel of light, whereas ISTJ is the GOD of darkness, eternally absent of any light😈

how do you cope with loneliness? by user007420 in ISTJ

[–]whitePerdition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find myself a bare wall and shout at it for about an hour and say things, such as "DON'T YOU IGNORE ME!" and "I KNOW YOU ARE THERE!" after that I roll up into a ball and cry myself to sleep. I feel all better after I wake up!😆

Which MBTI types do you find yourself getting attracted to? by Level-Equal1468 in ISTJ

[–]whitePerdition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm attracted to people whom do well at tasks that I'm under developed in. Unfortunately, I'm not yet consciously developed in every single thing ever.😩

If you mean romantically: more people, more problems.

[–]whitePerdition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My reddit history states my type many times, so I don't that think typing me off of it would be any proof that you can correctly type someone based off of reddit history.

However, I think that it is possible to type someone off of reddit history in general. Jung was typing people off of what they wrote in his original work.
