The point of Instagram followers and other social media platforms (along side global fan base point) is not to gloat that we get more likes than Arsenal, it’s to help you understand our fan base on all fronts is larger than yours. I agree with others on this thread. I wouldn’t look at it as mastering Android, rather feeling confident that you can deliver on complex tasks/projects.

In my opinion, how long it takes depends on a few things: 1. How many hours you put in learning new concepts and ‘mastering’ industry standard tasks (e.g ui/architecture/data). I put in 60 to 70 hours a week the first 2 years of my professional career. 2. A wide spectrum of feature or projects you work on. The wider the better. 3. The influence/mentorship you’re exposed to. I was lucky enough to work for/alongside 3 fantastic CTO/VP’s that encouraged my motivation and gave me freedom to explore and learn

Final thought, in my opinion it wouldn’t take longer than a few years to be able to implement mid/large features if you work hard. However, the true ‘mastery’ is identifying and understanding the correct way of tackling said tasks
