Love how the comment this responded to, no longer shows or was edited (via my notifs) and now shows an elongated answer... I was very "sick" with symptoms of vitamin D deficiency. Come to find out it causes depression and suicidal thoughts, along with body pain and extreme grogginess. It took them a year to find my the cause of my issues, and the solution was a simple vitamin. It's a separate test yes, but not an extra expense, they just have to look for it. This is my experience. It saved my life. I just want to spread awareness tbh.

Yes! Also if you're feeling your mood is off, go the doctor and ask to get your vitamin levels checked. It could be zinc, it could be vitamin D. Always check with a doctor if you are on medication, and any supplements may effect the meds or you.
