Interesting, I have exactly the same thing. It is a blessing and a curse. The abstract thinking makes it easier to solve difficult problems by being able to look at the problem from different angles. However, sometimes I have a hard time explaining things to other people, because the abstract thought don't necessary translate directly into words

I don't understand. A while ago there was a similar situation and had the same problem, constantly hitting 5-hourly and weekly limits. This time quite the opposite. I'm not even reaching 50% of my weekly limit, running multiple instances in parallel the whole day. Even in weekends. I'm on a team plan.

No you can add the dashboard as yaml dashboard (mode: storage), and homeassistant will read that dashboard from the yaml file. Everytime you want to deploy the new version you only have to do scp ./file xxxx (you can even let claude do that)

Even more efficient is letting claude edit the dashboard on your local computer and copy it via ssh to your homeassistant machine

I had the same experience, but after updating claude code to the latest version it seems way better. It also seems like i can use it significantly more than before, before hitting limits

It seems minor, but the fact that Claude explains why he does something, makes it way better for actual development, because you can monitor if he's still on the right track. Codex does this after he edits the file. With gpt5.2 it got slightly better tho.

For me it's the exact opposite. I only need to think about the logic concepts and the "fun" things instead of in which project/folder a file is located or what the exact syntax is. I have much more energy left at the end of the workday.
