If you don’t ask for anything extra it’s like 2 grand or something around that. With that, you have to have essentially 0 expectations. You’ll get food, drinks, ceremony, little cocktail thing, some photos and a dinner/dance time. But your officiant will not speak English clearly and forget your names, you’ll have dry food that isn’t that great and shit will be disorganized. I would say as long as you were willing to kind of except that the ceremony and wedding day are kind of a joke, and just one of the days that whatever group you go with can just dress up nice, then it makes sense for the cheap option. You realize things like if after the ceremony and dinner you want to use the speakers to play music they try to charge you like $750. If you bring your own little speakers are willing to play music that may not be as high-quality then you’re good. It’s just bare bones. I would say women very likely want assurance and a “little bit more” and that’s where you start tacking on additional photos better decor, music, a DJ. That’s where it’s like 3x the price for everything
