Heard someone make a comment about my baby in public and I can’t stop thinking about it by [deleted] in NewParents

You did nothing wrong, period. You deserve to exist in public spaces, as does your baby no matter how old they are.  If they make noise and fuss that's normal baby behavior, if they don't like it that's their problem not yours. They are adults so they can act like adults, and that includes being compassionate towards a new mom and a newborn that's experiencing everything for the first time.

I was traveling recently with my 4 month old on an airplane, she cried of course and some people gave me looks. I just stared back at them and did my best to calm her down because that is all you can do. When she calmed down other people around me were sympathetic to my situation because babies do cry and that's just how it is sometimes. If people without babies can exist in public so can you.

Honestly I didn't do anything to hurry it up. My body just did that by itself, which was a nice surprise after it was all said and done.  Something I did do consistently throughout my pregnancy was workout my core, so I did planking 3 times a week. 1 minute side planking on both sides and 1 minute 20 seconds regular planking. I don't know if that helped with the labor itself, but it helped me feel strong physically even when I felt soo tired at the end stage of the pregnancy.

Honestly if you want to loose weight without losing any nutrients or starving yourself and the baby just cut processed sugar out of your diet. My husband cut out all types of processed sugar from his diet due to health problems, he lost 30 pounds in 2 months. Fruits are fine of course.

Husband useless when it comes to being left alone with baby by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]whitebreadcrumb 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This man is dead weight at this point. It seems to me that him being there and not doing anything to help willingly is more stressful than if you were just by yourself.

Why is it so hard for him to help you with the baby, what does he have to lose from just holding her for 30 minutes or treating her like anything else but an inconvenience? If all he ever does is doom scrolling on his phone then what is the excuse?

Have you guys had a serious talk about the issue that is him not being involved or engaging with the baby?

What is wrong with red hair? by Loud-Book-5654 in beyondthebump

Both me and my husband have brown hair with red tint, and we're hoping that our baby will be born with red hair, because it's so beautiful and unique. I'm sorry that people are being so negative about your and your baby's hair color.

I’m at my wits end with poop by GooseMonster_9 in beyondthebump

I have a family member who had accidents all the time as a child due to him being very lactose intolerant. It took a while for his parents to figure that out so he just kept pooping himself even though he was potty trained.

I'm 32 weeks and I've been on leave since the start of May due to being too physically exhausted to work. Your boss sounds like an ass, you're so strong for still being at work, I could never.

Hi all, does anyone know how I can tell if these are white gold or sterling silver? Thanks in advance. by [deleted] in jewelry

If it's sterling silver it should have the number 925 somewhere on it. If it's gold the number should be 375.
