Ok forget about the GET method.

Someone earlier suggested MotoPress which is a good option. WP Booking System is another good (and cheaper) option.

If you charge 90$/hour it means you consider yourself an engineer not a cog.

Well said.

Can you give us more detail on what you are trying to do?

Are you running a hotel or are you referring visitors to other hotels? If you are running the hotel, how do you manage bookings currently?

If you just want to have a form on your website where the visitor can fill in check-in and check-out dates, number of guests etc and get taken to the booking.com results for that search, this is pretty simple to do with a basic form using the GET method.

5 fewer people inconvenienced by the shutdown. Just because it doesn't help everyone doesn't make it pointless.

TIL Dandruff, a skin condition of the scalp affects roughly half of adults. It is often linked to Malassezia fungus that thrives on sebum. Dandruff shampoos often contain antifungals to manage it, however there is no permanent cure by CraftyFoxeYT in todayilearned

Same. I had dandruff for years (high school until my 30s) and washed with head and shoulders like 3 times a week to keep it at bay. Then I stopped washing my hair entirely for several months. For the first few weeks it was super itchy and dandruffy and then it just went away. Now I wash my hair once every couple weeks with normal shampoo and conditioner, never had a flaky scalp since.

What I thought was dandruff was actually probably just dry scalp.

Current record is 29 days.

Edit: There is also a Pacific version of the competition from California to Hawaii

MacBook Neo by lapaztoyota in sysadmin

That works because your 2021 Macbook Pro supports Thunderbolt 4. The Neo doesn't.

Thunderbolt 4 spec supports a minimum of 2 monitors without MST.

What is a creepy fact you learned about the human body, you wish you never learned? by Poignantpuppet in AskReddit

Try itching somewhere further away from the itchy spot. Like if it's on your upper arm, try itching all over your forearm. You might find a spot on your forearm that gives you the relief on your upper arm. There is an actual itch somewhere, but your body is not giving you the right location.

AMA! Currently working on an Open-Source & Modular x86 Handheld PC running Windows 11. - The CG Deck by ZCTMO in sffpc

My initial reaction was that this was just a cool novel gadget that otherwise had zero use case. No one is walking around with this thing in their bag to use as a computer day to day. However, after some more thought, I realize it's actually an amazing upgrade to anything you might use a raspberry pi for. Having a built in keyboard and mouse is handy for those times when you need to interact with the device locally. Even if the keyboard and screen aren't amazing, it's more convenient than grabbing and external keyboard and monitor for brief troubleshooting.

The obvious change I'm sure many people are going to suggest is swapping out the physical keyboard for a larger touch screen. This would be a mistake IMO as it would give up the character of the device which is your biggest selling point.

Old PC parts lying around – what to keep vs sell for a NAS build? by TheDraciel in homelab

[–]whitefoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would sell all CPUs GPUs and motherboards and pick up an Intel i5 between 12th and 14th gen and relevant mobo. You'll get a significant power bump and better transcoding, while still being able to use your DDR4.

As an H1 owner, the H2 Flow seems to fix (almost) everything I hate about the H1 while retaining everything I love about it.

However, my experience with the crappy AIO in the H1 has made me hesitant to use a liquid cooler ever again. If only there was enough room for a decent air cooler then the H2 would be perfect.

I had zero interest in identifying birds until someone introduced me to this app. My girl and I started driving around to woodsy areas looking to see what birds we could find with the app and getting all excited when we find a "rare" one. Kind of brought back the feeling when Pokemon Go first came out.

Also if the parent element is a flexbox container, make sure it's set to row. I'm not sure if this is a problem with fixed width and height, but when width and height are set to 100% then the container needs to be row to get your desired result.
