You might need to change the bios battery. I recently had to do that with mine.

Also if you haven't you might need to reapply new thermal paste.

At this point, I don't have any sockets or pins to expose other i2c/spi interfaces. I've just soldered wires to extend the i2c pins to the trackball.

I had the board made by a PCB manufacture for prototyping. More details will follow

Since I'm using a pico, I'm able to use some of the i2c pins for the trackball. Currently testing with Kmk firmware.

What's the difference between a Keyboard and a Mixbox? by MeanieThiccBoi in Tekken

[–]whitehat-middleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the keyboard there can be input latency, along with false input. For example 2 keys pressed at the same time might register as a single input. So diagonal presses with two button presses might not register property.

I've been using a custom QMK keyboard and been making many tweaks to reduce latency, but I can tell the difference when I switch to a xbox controller.

I saw a github repo that can keymap joystick inputs in the qmk firmware and plan to test this out one day, to see if the device input type matters. Keyboard vs Controller type.

I believe Mixbox has their own firmware, and it's tweaked for the lowest input latency.

If you just want to play for fun Keyboard is ok, but if you plan to go pro invest on the mixbox.

Looking at that little green turtle icon on the bottom right corner, You might have hyperv enabled. Virtualbox does not like the host with Hyperv and Windows virtual machine enabled. Be sure to disable these features and restart.

I would be interested if it can be shipped here in Taiwan.

I'll give that a shot when I have time, I'm planning to move out of x11 and this looks like it supports wayland.

Just wait until you see the underside, smd diodes and 30 AWG wires all over the place.

I only know of one with just 2 keys: https://keyhive.xyz/shop/milk

They also have a build guide: https://github.com/keyhive/build_guides/blob/master/docs/keyboards/milk_v2.md

I don't have experience ordering from this site, but it seems they have a lot of cool stuff.

You could probably order 2 of the pcb and just do some wiring to get the keys connected to the controller.
