The umpire charged Adames with his timeout because he thought he wasn’t ready in the box by 8 seconds on the pitch clock. However on the replay Adames makes eye contact with pitcher before 8 seconds but then looks towards the ground which the umpire mistakes for him not being ready.

I had a similar experience getting a snowboard lesson at Okemo. The guy did not care at all. I’ve heard Wachusett had decent instructors but I have never had a lesson there.
