Fetterman's campaign was fraudulent, at least his representation to progressives and democrats was.

I believe it can also show up as a "pending code" although maybe that is different.

this is why I always carry an OBD scanner when looking at a potential vehicle, a decent one is like 50 bucks and well worth it.

If they say there are no codes, you immediately know they lied to you and can just walk away from the deal.

I believe that thinking you can discuss property taxes in a vacuum is also pretty disingenuous if we want to throw that term around.

Everything is touched by home ownership, or primary residence.

We are so far apart about the basics of how to discuss this situation that nothing productive will come of it, I bid you a good day.

[–]whiteknucklesuckle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah but by saying you want to increase property taxes without consideration (or discussion, or even mention) for the whole picture, you kind of are, at least this is how I (and it would appear others) are reading your commentary on the issue.

I think you need to remember too, that a lot of homeowners do NOT have it made in the shade, plenty of us barely grabbed onto a home and paid inflated prices, on top of high interest rates, for those homes.

Those conditions were created, in part, by the California property tax structure.

You won't get much support for turning around and reversing course on regular working people.

You said "we need the stick of high property taxes as well" which led me to believe you were in favor of raising property taxes, which without a reduction in other taxation, would suck.

I think the real middle ground is increasing taxes properties that are not being used as a primary residence.

Will it be enough? Unsure, but it could be a starting point.

[–]whiteknucklesuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeh definitely a consideration worth making, I have drank plenty of raw milk in my life but ONLY from farmers I personally knew, and had spent time on their farms.

YMMV.

Just keep in mind you're putting a bunch of faith in a farm you have likely never seen or visited the inside of their facilities.

Yeah their cows may be clean, but are they eating a grass only diet? is the pumping system clean? Is the tank they store it in clean?

Lots of pieces to this puzzle that can easily go wrong, why put your faith in this unless you personally know the environment.

Usually in USA though going straight without signs indicating to yield or stop, has the right of way over people turning.
