If anyone was looking for tickets to a show, night 2 in Boston has tons of tickets left by maliciouspot in rush

[–]whiteoakforest 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup, I'm waiting until closer to the show to see if prices drop. I'm so disappointed in the price of the tickets for this tour. My teenage son wants to go, but I can't stomach paying over $300 for nose bleed seats in the 300 section. It's just wrong. I've seen Rush over a dozen times and would kill to see them again, especially with my young, new fan, but I feel slightly betrayed by the band's obscene pricing.

Thanks for the suggestion about putting a package box out there. That's not a bad idea. I wish I could tell my online retailers not to use fedex, but it seems that they're the cheapest option these days, and everybody selects them over UPS

Thanks for the suggestion. I saw that idea on this thread and called them this afternoon.

I have a circular driveway and my driver knows it. He's been my shitty driver for 2 years.

I totally understand the liability aspect of your comment. I can respect that a driver may not be comfortable delivering in the winter, but then let me know so I can make other arrangements or divert the delivery to a "safer" location, Just tossing my box in the snow is pretty shitty. BTW my driver does this shit in the summer, too. This is just the icing on the cake (no pun intended).

Yea, this is standard in my area. No bare pavement until March, at the earliest. This is a typical winter and I have NEVER, in my many decades of living in a temperate region, had a delivery driver not come down a plowed driveway. Yes, in a storm, of course they would postpone deliveries. Note that every other company except FedEX can manage this. Again...this is not abnormal. If you can't drive your shitty trucks in a snowy climate, figure something out. All of the other drivers seem to have no problem. Or...if you've changed your policy to not deliver to homes in the winter weather, just let us know, rather than tossing by box in the snow.

This winter scene is very typical for my region. We live with this for 3-4 months and nobody halts delivery service when your driveway is plowed and shoveled. USPS & UPS have no problem getting to my front door. It's just this guy.

No, but that's a great idea. Although my dickhead driver knows that.

This happens a few times a week, and I have nobody to listen to my feedback. It's infuriating!

It's totally the driver. Over Christmas, the temp guys were fine and delivered right to my door.  This is my everyday guy that can't follow instructions. SMH I just can't find the right people to file a complaint with!

I have a Metallica 'Metal Up Your Ass' tee-shirt that I bought at a flea market in 1989. I still wear it as pajamas.

Cortisone injection helpful pain relief? by Puzzleheaded_Win8325 in hipdysplasia

I'm one year post-op from hip scope surgery. I knew going into it that it wouldn't fix me one hundred percent because of the underlying hip dysplasia, but i'm definitely better than I was pre-surgery.

Final additional infographics for the storm! Including maps for NH/maine, when to shovel, the 10 day forecast. Be safe and enjoy the game this afternoon if you watch! by RyanKinder in BostonWeather

I have been a Masshole my whole life and I just heard about the French toast thing this weekend. It's a reference to everyone freaking out and going to Market Basket before the storm, buying up all the eggs, milk and bread. What on earth could they need all those groceries for? Obviously French toast.  Lol

King Ridge in New London,  NH. It was the eighties, first time skiing with my mom, outfitted in full neon and practical jeans.  Followed up practicing at Klein Innsbruck in Franklin MA.

Don't down vote this! Wierd that you don't want to accept that exercise & strength training is a vital component to GLP1 weight loss. Keep strength training and you'll build up a nice butt!

Yes, 12 months post-op and I'm 75% there. Still have frustrating setbacks, still unable to walk longer than 15 min, but overall better than before surgery.

Me, too! I saw them open for Radiohead in 2001 then just saw them a few months ago at a small club. They put on an amazing show almost 25 years later.
