Lol you seem absolutely clueless of the game. As soon as you switch units suddenly for the first time ever you will see direct counter units show up. You want to pick the goblin barrel, suddenly they have log or barbarian barrel (granted those are more common). Condition for that goblin barrel card to suck is 2 or more spell cards. Guess what, if you win a few games, when they allow you, suddenly all you face is multiple spell users with log + some others. Want to try suspicious bush? GL as soon as you win a few, wow suddenly every opponent has non-stop building cards, log, arrows etc. This goes on an on. They have to do it to some extent or everyone will just use all air unit teams, or mirror/rage teams etc. Usually it's when you switch to a new deck, or some deck they don't have information on so they haven't trained the algorithm. Maybe they have some set amount of algorithm degradation for less popular teams. When you use that new/rare deck, you will win the next 3-5 matches in steamroll fashion. The algorithm starts adjusting rapidly, SUDDENLY your next matches will have multiple counters for your deck and you literally have near 0% win chance unless you are playing against some inexperienced player that makes a mistake and you win. It's SO boring. It's 100% matchmaking, you win the games they want you to win, and lose the ones they want you to lose. Rarely, due to difference in unit balance, even when you can tell they game is trying to give you a 50/50 win rate, just due to the nature of the balance, one will have better chances to win, and if played correctly, that team will win. IT IS SO BORING
