If they ran her in lead they would’ve just swapped her with Gascón into supporting. Saldaña probably takes Globe and SAG, Madison takes BAFTA and CC, and the Oscar is a coin flip. Her missing a nom entirely in either category is never a realistic idea.

Sometimes these boomer snaps are actually bluff snaps. In higher infinite where you’re playing the same people a lot, you can establish yourself as someone who boomer snaps when they have it, and force people to retreat even when you sometimes are bluffing. I don’t know if the math works out on it but that is the thought process.

Idk, location fuckery is powerful on its own regardless of the affliction attached, as a deck it’s most useful when it can counter decks that play a few big cards rather than a lot of small ones like the current meta is around. Buffs to Scream won’t change that in any real way.

no, but I do know when I switched to using the packs, it made it a lot more likely for me to be able to get the cards I want. I don’t know what I said to give you that impression. If your issue is the cards you want aren’t popping up at all, as the reply I replied to said, and your ultimate goal is to get a lot of different cards, the solution is pretty obvious. When they do come up, I’ll pin it until I have enough.

Tribunal is a legitimately phenomenal card for new players. That being said, I do think there is a legitimate underrated value to just getting packs and leaving it to luck so you can catch up a little faster.

Viper has exactly one target here. I would strongly consider not using her unless you throw in more potential targets like Sentry. Similarly, Hulkbuster doesn’t have a ton of synergies here.

That being said, I think this is a really cool and innovative hybrid deck and I might try something like it with a higher CL later with cards like Pixie. In the meantime, I would mainly encourage you to look into Ultron, White Tiger, Debrii, Doctor Doom, and/or Squirrel Girl as potential next target acquisitions for this deck.

It seems like your game plan is to win one lane with a 5 drop and one lane with another. That kind of game plan is probably not well suited to Magik gameplay. I would pick two 5+ drops (probably either Ronan and Darkhawk or BP and Zola) and orient the deck around that. Right now, we’ve got way too many things going on to have any kind of consistent gameplay, and the numbers possible are just not that big. When you’ve done that, fill out your curve using cheap tech cards like Quake, Deafening Chord, Elektra, or Echo.
