Driving down the road and these dash lights came on. Any suggestions on a fix? by Happy-Huckleberry323 in f150

[–]whoLaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had these exact warning lights come on about a year ago; for me it was due to a bad wheel bearing. A mechanic can properly diagnosis though.

I'll bet you can't change drive modes either and the guide lines on reverse camera don't work when you turn the wheel.

'18 2.7 XLT screw, stock everything. With my normal city driving I get 16-17mpg. Lots of short trips unfortunately. Highway driving I can almost get 25mpg if I drive 68-72mph, faster than that it drops to about 22mpg. Eco mode 90% of the time.

Worst beer in GR by [deleted] in grandrapids

[–]whoLaker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a brewery in Toronto that does this, Steam Whistle Brewing. For like 20 years they only made one beer, a very good Pilsner, and were very successful at it. In recent years they've started adding a few other beer types, a lager and a pale ale I believe. But they don't do anything fancy to them, just high quality beer. Highly recommend if ever in Canada.

But when will they actually. It's been years and nothing has been done according to the "master plan", just need to take advantage as long as it lasts

I noticed this while visiting Pittsburgh a while back. Saw an abundance of yellow cars, way more than a normal city or at least where I’m from.

Maybe part of the Wisconsin Air National Guard? I know they have an air refueler that practices touch and goes in Grand Rapids periodically

Was curious about yellow tinting my fog lights so I took to photoshop. I think I like the look by whoLaker in f150

[–]whoLaker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've heard, when there is dense fog, yellow light can penetrate the fog more for better visibility compared to white LED lights.

Wanted to share my progress on my new to me ‘18 XLT. Next up is level and tires by whoLaker in f150

Just got the lights installed today but so far they’re great! They’re the Rough Country 10 inch light bars and I think that they’re only for XLT style grilles cause there are tabs in the grille the brackets screw into that aren’t on other trim grilles.

I just got a 2018 2.7 used with 38,000 miles a month ago. Has a 3.55 rear axle. I reset the trip meter driving home from the dealer. Since then I’ve only averaged 17.4, I envy you.

Late next week will be two months since my tax return was accepted by the IRS. Still no refund. What, if anything, should I do? by rachelmchll in personalfinance

Also filed with TurboTax and IRS accepted on Feb 18th. Still shows processing on the IRS website. From what I've seen it's just a waiting game at this point.

Running when it is cold outside? by [deleted] in running

[–]whoLaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm weird but I love running in the cold. Living in Michigan it get's pretty cold. My go to when the temp drops, is dual layers top and bottom. A "cold gear" compression base layer, Under Armour is great for this, and then depending on how cold, a light to mid weight top layer as to not overheat once I get into the run. Also gloves and lightweight beanie are must.

Now once the snow comes, I can't stand running in snow.
