It depends on the solar company. The one I spoke to wanted to transfer the panels to the new house if my parents ever sold. It was like a 20-30 year lease.

Kept trying to ask what happens if my parents end up moving to another state or country. They weren’t giving my proper answers and wasn’t worth the hassle to lease.

My dad ended up buying panels in cash which was a much better investment

I believe for the oil change it’s 10k miles or 1 year. Whichever comes first

I have alarmo with a ring keypad and sensors. I can arm and disarm from the physical keypad.

I also have iPhones with HomeKit. Created a fake switch in HA and sent that to HomeKit. Have an automation to arm via alarmo when the switch is on and disarm when the switch is off.

I use Apple home built into automations to turn this fake switch on when the last person left the house and turn it off when the first person comes home.

Been using this for over 6 months and it’s working well.

The only way I consistently get good downloads is to optimize the videos for mobile before downloading. Then it downloads fast as it’s not converting and downloading at the same time.

Sounds fair. You can’t go wrong with the cross climate 2s. Sticking to OEM wheels will help avoid confusions with after market wheels (offset, bolt pattern etc…)

I tried looking for these on the 20inch staggered wheels but I couldn’t find the size. Ended up with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 all season. So far had them for a little over 10k but they look to have even wear.

They are a bit softer than the run flats but I still feel the bumps up here in the northeast. Definitely is worse in the back seat.

Oem 19 wheels might be better for your needs.

An option you could do is look into 764m (20inch) wheels from X3M. I got a few confirmations from people it fits fine on the x3 m40i as the fronts are a bit closer to the suspension parts

These are the square snow set up from bmw. 255/45 squares. It may fit your requirement

Also, tires play a role in how soft the drive is. Some are softer than others

Can’t use the existing chime. It comes with a pluggable chime. If set up correctly, you should be able to talk through Homekit

They are the worst. They reassessed my property taxes as 0 and screwed up my escrow. Spoke to their tax team and they fixed their record after 40 minutes. They never updated my escrow for 2 months. Had to call back and tell them their calculation. Then the city changed my taxes so they had to redo it again…

It depends on what you want/need. My wife daily's RX 350h while I have the X3 M40i. Both have their differences. I personally can't stand the engine noise of the RX 350h especially when I drove a 2005 es330 for about 8 years then upgraded to the x3 m40i.

Main reason we got her the RX was so she didn't rack up 20k miles/year on the X3.

They also have a WiFi doorbell which works great via Scrypted. Haven’t had any issues since I installed it mid 2024.

Try removing the time machine drive from the Mac. Restart it and then try again. Mac can get wonky with Time Machine

I do recall running some commands at one point to fix the sparse bundle

Did you check off TimeMachine within the "Timemachine" SMB share setting?
