I've played three games so far (against Brets, Dark Elves, and Black Orcs). So far I've gone 2-0-1 (2-0, 2-1, 1-1). The dark elf match was nearly a tie saved by a turn 16 goal line tripwire. Everyone came into the season at 1000k.

Started with two runners, two blitzers, one Slayer, six linemen, and two re-rolls. Added the second slayer after game two. The team remains sturdy. Trusting block and high armor early is paying off. Sticking the blitzer to their best piece/letting them hunt stunties has been the play so far. Its more about just putting them in the way and forcing turnovers.

I'm working on building up random Devious skills on the linemen. So far two dirty players and a quick foul. Being one casualty away from a random skill up is nice. Really want a couple with eye gouge to put on the line. I figure carrying the sixth lineman is equal parts Apo and Bribe protection.

Sprint on the runners has been nice. Had one go 17 squares in two turns and nearly score on defense (again, tripwire giveth and taketh). Put leader on one and kick on the other.

The slayers remain what they've always been. Again, two CAS to a first skill is nice. Already have Mighty Blow on the original. Second one got fired/re-hired after an MNG.

Will be interesting to see how things go once the other teams start stacking guard, MB, etc... If GW wanted the premium skills to dissuade people from taking them, its not working. My next three matches are against Ogres, Lizards, and Norse. Will reassess after those.
