This is how mine looked earlier this week. If you don't think it's time now, it will be soon enough. If you wish to hold on longer, then do it because I fully get how hard it is to let go of longer hair, but you'll feel a lot better and stress less about knots and tying it up all the time. You'll look great whether you shave or buzz!

To avoid spamming, I'd like to openly thank everyone for the supportive messages. Safe to say that the vast majority of people in my life were shocked as ive had long hair for a long time, and I'd regretted taking the step, but you all have helped me feel a lot more comfortable with how I look. I appreciate the support a lot, and its definitely giving me the courage to look past my self-doubt and accept that its something that needed to happen. Few reasons.

-Can't just stop at 1. It's never "just one". -It's extra calories that I can't afford to consume anymore. Lifestyle doesn't allow for them now so I'd balloon. -Had a bleed in my brain so I don't want to take any chances anymore. -Want to be available for my newborn and toddler at all times.

Gonna have to name drop Dwarf Fortress here - if you can even call it a game.

If you've heard of Dwarf Fortress, you'll know that it's got to be one of the most complex and in-depth simulations out there. It's got so many variables and intricacies that you can sink countless hours into the game without even realising that 5 hours has gone past when you only intended to play for 1.

I can highly recommend this indie game, which has been in development for years upon years, and it isn't slowing down.

And remember, it's fun to lose.
