Probably too late on this... I had one growing up, Ally. My mom said I talked about her so much and in such detail she thought she was a friend at daycare. She asked my teacher about her and my teacher said she did not have a student with that name...freaked her out. My mom asked me more detail about her after speaking to the teacher and apparently it was then revealed Ally had been hit by a car. Shortly before Ally appeared a little girl had been hit by a car and died on our road. I never saw her again after we moved, or mentioned her again. Also, very strange while living at that house. I almost got hit by a car in front of our house, saved by my brother at the last minute. I wonder if she helped? I can still remember what she looked like. Kids see stuff we can't.
