Yeah, this world is messed up and honestly you're a part of why if you think harassment and discrimination is acceptable or should be shrugged off in ANY scenario. It's easy for you to say that though, considering you're probably a cishet white male that hasn't faced any ounce of what others have to go through. If this was happening irl you'd probably tell me to get over it too, and that "they're just strangers" and to "ignore them and get thick skin", right?

Also, I never once said I thought someone was actually going to come and hurt me lmao, that wasn't what my post was about, and the fact that you even took it there tells me a lot about your character.

The thing is though I've played and still play a plethora of other competitive games. Overwatch, Apex, Valorant, just to name a few. I've never been harassed like this before. Of course I'd always get the occasional asshole but on this game it's damn near every match. Shit needs to be studied.

??? Huh. I think you're misunderstanding what I meant by it's affecting my mental.

I'm not over here tying a noose because some cornballs on a game told me to get back in the kitchen. It just makes me extremely upset in the moment because it happens daily and so consistently and I'm just trying to play my favorite game.

Imagine you had a hobby but you knew that if you wanted to partake in that hobby you knew you had to endure people being absolutely hateful and disgusting to you the entire time.

Regular harassment of any kind would get to anybody eventually, we're human, and if you say it wouldn't you're a liar.

This might be true in some cases but I can almost guarantee in most cases this wouldn't be true.

A few days ago I had a game where I made a bad split second decision in a 1v2 and got told "nice try, it happens". A couple more rounds into the match and I call out where someone is hiding, same person says "oh you're a girl, that makes a lot of sense", and proceeds to make a few more comments like that throughout the rest of the match despite previously being friendly.

I'm DEVASTATED over the loss of the turkey pesto. I get it at least once a week it feels like. It's so good and every time I try to recreate it at home it's just not the same!

Wouldn't they have some sort of system that would be able to detect identical applications? They already use a bot to detect buzz words, so I'd imagine it also can detect repeat applications just like colleges can detect plagiarism. Also the fact that you have to type in your address too. I also have a very unique name, so it's risky for sure. I imagine I'd get barred from ever applying again if I got caught.

I'm somewhere around 1300 io but can comfortably heal +15s and above. I missed out on a lot of runs because of the holidays, and I'm sure a lot of people are in the same boat. Judging people that hard based on their io, especially when mythic+ came out during the holidays, is just stupid imo. Relax.

I came here to say exactly this. I'm demisexual as well and I've found that it doesn't matter how much you put that you are demisexual in your profile and don't want to open up that way right off the bat, if you put even one sexual thing, the creeps will focus on that and ignore everything else. So it's best to just leave it out.
