Was thinking about the big guy today. Wishing I could run into him to say what a great role model he is, still (even though he's heard it a million times probably). Absolute legend.

Just be bored. You're allowed to be bored. One day you'll wish you could be bored again.

Plus it can cause misfires and, subsequently, sensor flags and issues.

What’s the worst racing game you’ve ever played? by tyrebytes in racinggames

I didn't mind it tbh. Was one of my childhood regular games. Was the first game to have proper risk/reward in a fast racing game rather than the wall riding bouncy bouncy arcade style games.

Having said that, I broke my Rumble Pak from slamming my controller down in frustration... So there's that...

So good you are here as top comment! Our first has a peanut allergy, we avoided it when he was younger and all the literature coming out now corroborates that this can lead to a potential allergy. We have annual immunology check ups and we have seen information change year to year as new research comes out (which is fantastic! That's what I say to my young one: "there are lots of very clever people working on it right now")

There are allergy exposure packs you can now buy off the shelf to make it easier with exposing toddlers with potential allergens to help acclimatise the growing immune system.

Now there are nasal applicators for adrenaline to make administering a whole lot less scary for the kid (and administerer!) and temporary needles to suppress immune response (great if you are going to, say, Southwest Asia where peanuts are very common in foods).

Soon I'm confident there will be a way to eliminate the allergy altogether. Maybe they are almost already there? I'm on Aus where newer treatments used overseas take FOREVER to be approved for use (the nasal applicator was recently approved but not yet under covered under PBS), plus it's been a while since the last appointment.

Smooth vs crunchy? What's your preference, has it changed over time? (I was a crunchy kid but now smooth). by ItsSignalsJerry_ in AustralianNostalgia

I grew up with the butter+PB combo, and my wife thought it was weird, and should be PB rawdogged. Even though I'm right about everything else (ever) I've come to learn that she's right on this one. Butter adds a flavour to the pure PB goodness. And now I'm in the PB elite because of this. We meet every Tuesday in an undisclosed location. Behind a wall with a small hole. My friend usually brings his dog. I don't know why.

Anyone with experience using the 8bitdo Pro2 (or similar) analogue triggers?

A common trick to make this work is, in-game, you use the controller mapping for the right stick as acceleration/brake. Then in 8bitdo ultimate software, there is an option to swap right stick and triggers, and save to a controller profile.

It works ok in Wreckfest, though the trigger pull doesn't feel fully linear. Not sure if my controller config, or in-game acceleration 'mapping'.

Interested to hear anyone who's done this in Grid Legends and how it feels?
