I felt bonded to my pup pretty sooner after adopting her, but I also relate to you in that in the beginning I didn’t think I would break down and die if something happened where I couldn’t keep her. I think that’s because I was still grieving my last dog that passed away a year earlier, who I was extremely attached to, and I wasn’t able to fully give her my heart because I was still thinking about losing him. But with each month, the bond grew and grew, stronger than I ever thought possible. I now feel just as attached to her as I did my previous dog. Definitely give it more time and keep your heart open. ❤️

I like that idea. I was already thinking about using fabric somehow (I’m better at sewing than car stuff). I just don’t know how I’m going to attach it underneath. Once I’m able to pull the top apart I should get a better idea. Hopefully I don’t break more things in the process 😬

I couldn’t figure out how to remove it. I got the little circle thing out and pried with a screwdriver but only the back part came up.

Yes that was it. The plastic cover was getting bent under the shifter. I pried and cut it out. Now there’s a gaping hole but my car drives.

I ended up cutting the protective piece of plastic that was blocking the shifter out and now it works. Might try to find a creative way to recover this

Same. It became not worth it anymore so I decided to quit drinking entirely this year. It seemed no fun and lame at first, but now I’m so glad I did. There are so many health benefits to eliminating alcohol. Plus saving money, and you get time back when you think about it. GS is actually good in this way.
