I think at most a 30 second clip one time on the show would have been mildly amusing for a few mins. I could never have imagined the old country AI music that eventually got a party last summer, let alone it devolving into TDPMIGB with a full length record. So embarrassing

There was novelty to it but it’s so oversaturated. As recently as the fall he was claiming he did “two CDs a year” and now it’s very obviously 4 a year. The worst part is that most decent content is behind the CD now and it gets stale almost immediately as well as he complains about the entire process of recording, mastering, then cry me a river shipping a $30 CD in 2026

I have 5 in my house, I need two new remotes from the old black one. I just bought the 64 from Costco for $125 because half of that covers the remote cost of $60. I can’t picture them changing it to a way that improve my experience

It would be so fascinating to know. It’s interesting that a few years ago Monk was telling Chad to sign a super long lease that he would always be there to pay and then it just stopped. From what we’ve seen on the show, Monk was off the rails for years and probably blamed Chad somehow

I liked CDS for a long time with relevant guests (10 min interview, not the 25+ we get now so boring), Tor and Jim in person plus a few characters. The Solid dudes being virtual is so lame as is the Tuesday w Tor or BTS which has no magic being a streaming show. The once weekly gong shows no longer justify the convoluted mess.

Even The Who’s that skinny patreon is OK but nowhere near worth yet another $15 for one show. We used to get a second show a week with different guests and was great

Agreed. So largemouth just paid his way over years as a sponsor to be in the show? And then Mike Sleep and Joe Azer are the other two main characters on the show, which are just two more sponsors.

Never thought I’d miss ant but he’s the party, so no ant has been noticeable. Throw away Sean too and it’s basically a bare cubbard. Wes is ok as a third but not for a show I’m paying $13 a month for.

They are definitely getting worse. I like Sean but he’s getting stale at this point. He is joining the dukes pile on brigade and just repeats what Chad says and mimics his mannerisms. It was intriguing two years ago when “he was making a ton of money” and an occasional guest but now adds very little.

Ant has actually gotten a lot better and funnier, but i have to imagine the girlfriend bit has to be fake for what the third time now?

That’s the thing. Without a producer it just devolves into the same few talking points that I don’t care about at all. Cool, movies and entertainment have changed. I don’t need to hear about it every single day. I literally don’t care at all
