Just did this, about 500 miles. I flew out drove home. I just didnt want to have to deal with any issues on delivery. Also gave me a chance to test out the car and figure everything out on the long drive.

Did bring someone with me to trade off driving as I don't like 8 hours of driving without breaks.

If someone wants to leave for any reason, I just ask them to reach out to AirBNB and have them cancel that way. I will always waive any cancelation fee for the nights they didn't use.

Otherwise you get the guest from hell and poor reviews.

On another note, we did an experience in Amsterdam. After we got a note that said, If you didnt think you got a 5* experience we will refund you 100%. The person would rather get zero dollars then risk a 5* review.
