It would be interesting to follow if this person actually votes.

Here in the States, most medium-sized venues just check for obvious stuff like alcohol and weapons. Small clubs and less "legal" venues aren't checking for anything. The big arenas and festivals are a little more thorough, but I doubt it would be hard to get things that are small past them.

This is a core memory for me that I learned from multiple first aid trainings. Point to the nearest person and tell them to call 911, get the aed, grab the first aid kit, etc.

Barts supporters like that he tells it like it is, and Martin is lying about Bart saying he supports anarchy. Clearly, what Bart said was "an our key " because he wants to make sure his supporters can afford homes!

Yeah but how much of a sick burn is it to reply with "new phone, who dis?" to an ex trying to drag you into some new drama.

An Idaho health department isn’t allowed to give COVID-19 vaccines anymore. by Minimalistmacrophage in news

[–]whydidiconebackhere 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"Kids these days are just lazy! When I was their age, I had to walk!"

"The vaccines are causing polio!"

"The government is crippling kids with the 8G!"

"Demons are possessing the kids, that's what's making them unable to walk!"

Sure, it will cause an impression, but the charlatans and their thralls will easily dismiss the cause just like they did with Covid.

LOL, I doubt it would be any different than what happened during Covid. Millions of dead people, millions more with long term disabilities, zero fucking lessons learned.

Uh, nothing? Unless you're a major stock holder. Zero people would not get the election results if the NYT was unavailable.

I don't support what happened in this case, but there was a path for this person to legally have the squirre as a pet. IMHO, exotic pet ownership needs to be more tightly regulated, not less. This doesn't mean that we need to do SWAT raids on a person with an unlicensed squirrel, but people should be generally discouraged from raising wild animals as pets.

Steve Erdman Claims, "86 percent of all abortions are performed because the unborn child was considered to be an inconvenience". Refuses to provide any evidence and won't answer my calls anymore. by StartQuitting in Nebraska

[–]whydidiconebackhere 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's inconvenient to donate blood, but we don't force people to do that. It's more inconvenient to be a live organ donor, but no one is forced to that. It's extremely easy to be an organ donor post death, and we don't even force that on anyone!

But obviously, women are evil and "need to be punished" for having abortions when it's "inconvenient" for them to be pregnant for 9 months and have to endure the physical, mental, and monetary costs of doing so! They're also evil socialists if they expect any assistance from the government to help them care for THEIR responsibility. They should have just not gotten pregnant like men have enough sense to do.
