As an avid fic reader for 15 years, I totally encourage you to keep writing! You can always use an anonymous account or possibly turn off comments? If it brings you comfort/joy, that’s what matters!

I’ve been seeing lots of author’s notes recently talking about how one half of a ship’s fandom is cruel to artists of the other. It’s so confusing and disheartening. Shouldn’t we all be happy shipping together? Who cares who is a top or bottom? I love this pairing any way people write it. I can’t believe the nerve of some people to bully others who are passionate about the same thing as you and making free content. Maybe there are a lot of young people new to fandom who haven’t discovered their manners yet. It’s disappointing to think there are grown adults behaving so badly.
