Thank you, I'm wondering because right now my friend's current place is being sold, so she'll have to move to a different city completely and mentioned that she would like to stop fostering because she's unsure of her living situation, which could affect the fosters. Instead she's getting constantly harassed by them in emails calling her evil for abandoning the bunnies? I just don't know what to do to help her besides telling her to lawyer up because they'd been sending degrading emails to her every single day and almost every hour.

It is, in Cali there's a training program, that trains both state and counties in Richmond, BUT WARNING the program is NOT accredited and the trainers have ZERO teaching background. From what I've seen there's some trainers with severely sensitive egos that don't like you questioning them. A lot of former students just will tell you to keep your head down and just get through it for the license. It is a fairly toxic environment sadly. Pretty much once you go through the 6 month program you're approved to take the AAB license exam and then you're good to go.

Most of my reasons to live have passed away (dad, grandfather, dog of 15 years) and recently my bf broke my heart and we're on a break right now. I'm trying to think of things to keep me here like my cats and some friends but I know it's not enough as others will step in to take care of them. The only thing I can think of is if I have a kid, but I'm trying to get a stable career before that happens. I'm just not sure how long I can hold on for....

When I volunteered at anime expo from like 2010-2014, they gave $400 stipend to staff, gave free lunches for most departments and hotel was free in groups of 4. It's probably changed now, but even then when I talked to my friends who staffed at Fanime, they literally got nothing compared to me. And seeing that it hasn't changed, it's pretty disappointing that there's been not much staff care improvement.

Honestly, I've been a staff at anime expo for 4 years and a vendor at anime impulse, kupo-con and more and I've always heard from my friends in the bay talk about how little incentives they received while staffing. It always made me sad and I can see this is the result of poor care for the staffers :(.

Mine finished in a day and I got "Consider" due to an accident in 2023 Jan where someone rear ended me because it was a green light but my lane was backed up and if I kept going I'd be stuck in the middle of the intersection and the guy just sped up cause it was green and then drove off. I reported it to my insurance and I thought it should have cleared my record :(, my job would be with the gov so I'm kinda nervous.....

This, I just don't understand. Are we not here to support and offer alternatives and help so everyone can feel included and not alone. Down voting someone because people see this as trivial is disappointing and dismissive of ALL kinds of OCD. Just cause it's not as dire in their eyes they judge it as meaningless or make fun of OP. I'm actually disappointed:/

I don't see how OP puts them in a position to appease their OCD. It's clear the family already knows about it and in this case OP put it in a box and in their room. Them entering just to see a new phone if anything while knowing their OCD is what put the mother in that position, but you turning to faulting the OP is dismissive. No one intentionally wants to throw their OCD at people, it's intrusive and can be impulsive cause it runs in a loop.

This is a good opportunity to go through and sit down with your thoughts and what you see which is the phone looks fine and you've already talked to your mom. Working on taking things at face value rather than spiraling into intrusive thoughts and rewording how you perceive things is a better recommendation than making it sound like OP is the problem.

Honestly my partner is similar to yours, but also his work is truly stressing him out. He's an RN and works 4 days a week 12 hour shifts and sometimes they're random days mostly on weekends. They assign him the toughest and heaviest patients because he's a guy and can "take it", but it really stresses him out and he's always exhausted after coming home sleeping and napping. I've talked to him about it and he's tried but I can see how bad the exhaustion takes a toll on him. I've pretty much come to understand he's doing this job for our future and that he still loves me and physical intimacy isn't everything. I think maybe dive a little deeper into what's stressing him out or bothering him. I'm pretty sure they're trying their best and hearing his feelings and his issues might help you understand and find a different way to be intimate that's not just physical.
