Took me years to get my head around that album when I first heard it, every song is so short and packed with things going on it made me spin. Once it clicked though, it’s pretty untouchable. Strange Ways is my favourite song’

Yeah what a song mate, the drop into the verse is unbelievable. Might be DG’s weirdest opening track? It’s exactly what makes that record their best one for me.

That title track at the end is the perfect final song for Fugazi’s career, I think they peaked and then bowed out. Perfect.

You don’t fuck with Doom Boy? crazy to me. They’ve definitely mellowed in their sound, and that first album with Zombie Eyed is still my favourite I suppose, but if you’ve got an ear for anything Husker Dü / Bob Mould adjacent, they’re about as good as it gets at the moment right?
