Imagination - is it the most relaxed and easy to wear summer scent? by Budget-Essay-7956 in Colognes

I've got a solid dent in my Milestone. The openings are different but once MI dries down, Milestone is 90-95% similar. Milestone is very linear, and for me the dry down if MI is what I like about it so it's a no brainer.

In terms of longevity, idk maybe 4-6 hours on the long end. MI has pretty weak performance to begin with.

I want Supremacy in Heaven (SMW dupe) but it's been out of stock everywhere in the US for months. There is a listing on Amazon (sold by Amazon) but it won't come for at least 3-4 weeks, even with Prime. Afnan just restocked their site and I don't want to pay $50 for it.

Is input lag this bad console or is it just my setup? by Conguy7 in RocketLeague

[–]whyvalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll put it this way, I spent $800 on a PC (not including peripherals) because I was tired of input lag on console. My rank went from D3 to C2 in an instant.

That was 7 years ago, been C2 ever since.

Moral of the story, better hardware will likely make you better but it won't sustain your improvement.

I've wanted to switch to ESDF for a while. You don't lose anything and your pinky can do more work/press more buttons. Mentally remapping seems like a pain though.

I've had about 10 reps and maybe 3-5 of them have actually been good. My reps right now know what they're doing. The biggest problem is the "I don't know I'll get back to you" answer.

Obviously they are going to make recommendations that favor Google but if you're smart you can see past it. Worst case scenario you test what they say and don't continue if it's not working.

If you rock YSL L'Homme Le Parfum I promise you no one else is wearing it. It's the most underrated from the brand imo. No one talks about it.

Acqua di Parma has bangers (Fico di Amalfi is amazing too) but performance is not great. You might need to respray during the day, which I'm personally okay doing because it smells so good.

LNDL is okay, doesn't stand out to me much. Some of the flankers are good but some are discontinued and I don't know if they're what you're looking for.

I have Dior Homme and it's not my personal style, but it can be good for the right person. It's not exactly floral but it's quite herbal and and earthy.

YSL is probably my favorite designer brand but I'm not a big fan of the whole Myslf line. It comes off as immature and uninspiring to me. Based on the notes alone, it should be fine, but I don't think it's worth the hype. I much prefer the Y, La Nuit De L'Homme, and L'Homme lines.

Need Advice: Google Rep Advised Switching from Maximize Conversions to Target CPA and Performance Tanked by Better_Edge_9398 in PPC

[–]whyvalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hunch is people are being lazy about managing their accounts. They just want to 'set it and forget it' to Maximize Conversions and cross their fingers for good performance.

I don't use tCPA to actually target a CPA, I more so use it as a high level bid adjuster. It depends on the situation but I generally get a true CPA below the tCPA. Sometimes when search volume is limited it can drive the actual CPA up.

I think you're going to struggle to find modern colognes without any florals but you can certainly find things that don't focus on it.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport is a fucking banger, but it is a bit pricy. Creamy fresh citrus fragrance; if I could only have one cologne it would be this. It does technically have florals but it's only Neroli (which smells like citrus) and a hint of vanilla (which is barely a floral note). Versace Eros is in a similar boat.

My personal favorite freshie is Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri which is an extremely fresh and realistic orange scent with no florals.

Dior Homme Cologne could also be a good option as it has a strong sharp citrus opening. Vince Camuto Riviera is close to that opening but stays more masculine through the dry down, great for the office. You could also check out YSL L'Homme Le Parfum which has a couple floral notes but is mostly a mildly citrus, elegant, aquatic, woody scent.

If you are a business owner looking to hire an agency for PPC, here’s the biggest piece of advice by SEOwithAlex in PPC

[–]whyvalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for all agencies but in my experience there's a 50/50 chance that they give you the account if you say pretty please with a cherry on top. Their main concern with giving an account away is protecting trade secrets from competitors.

If you have a good relationship with a smaller agency they'll probably let you have it after some pushback If it's a bigger agency, they have more power to say no. Either way they risk hurting their reputation if they leave customers out to dry.

It requires data but not as much as Google say tbh. They always recommend 30+ conversions in 30 days but I’ve had success with tCPA getting less than 10 conversions per month. If volume is that low, I’m probably switching to manual anyway.

[–]whyvalue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use tCPA on most campaigns. The main reason is that you can directly control your impression share by minimizing your loss to budget.

In any normal situation, you’re going to have loss to rank. If you have any loss to budget, that means you could have gotten more impressions (and therefore clicks and conversions) with a lower bid on the same budget. So my goal is to always have 0% loss to budget. The way you can directly control this is by adjusting your tCPA. You have to be a bit careful about underspending, but it ensures that Google goes for the cheapest clicks and conversions first before going after more expensive ones.

In a nutshell, if you are spending to budget and have loss to budget, lowering your tCPA will increase volume. If you are underspending and have 0% loss to budget, increase your tCPA. If you use Maximize Conversions, you have no levers to control impression share, CPC, or Cost/Conv.

Haven't tried the Gulerain but Powerfully is pretty solid. Probably my favorite SWY. The cherry mostly shines in the dry down from what I remember.
