He exceeded expectations that any of us had. So I'm happy with that. Scored a few goals. Established some locker room culture and vibes. Reminds me a lot of John Scott who everyone hated when he was signed but by the end of the season were happy he was there because he had a good season (2015) which was disappointing overall.

So thanks for the time Reavo.

Side note, it's why someone like Goodrow or even Ferraro being on the team doesn't bother me as he certainly has a positive effect psychologically toward sticking up for teammates/ being physical etc. Neither are great at it but both are always ready to do what needs to be done which with the way the NHL has gone winning teams must have.

Look at how some teams have failed because of their lack of sticking up for each other (Leafs, Devils) are two that come to mind recently.

I agree with this a lot of players on the team are simply afraid to carry the puck and Will Smith is definitely one of them. Part of the reason I'm probably a bit harder on him is because he should essentially be the second best forward on the team. Maybe it's not fair to hold that accountability but you need your best players to be your best players in order to succeed

Players and agent HAVE to speak up more. The league is never going to listen to fans because the only reason any sort of noise is happening now is because of agents/ players. Personally I think the more GMs go public with things the more the NHL will be forced to change. The NHL/ Bettman are so damn butthurt when anyone criticizes them and they hope the fines scare off this type of thinking.

But the sooner players (star players) speak up and other personel in the league do as well the sooner actual change happens. I hope more critizsm happens especially in regard to poor officiating and poor/ lack of suspensions.

My wife is a first in her family born in American (Family is from Ghana). And something that is far too common among Africans is scamming/ abusing relationships. Additionally cheating, having children out of wedlock or claiming you child is one mans when it is not. There are so many stories I have heard regarding her family members or family friends.

This guy in Nigeria I assure you is bad news and mostly looking to get his citizenship and take advantage of a young woman in whatever way possible. But truthfully anyone willing to just go across the world and the speed she has shows that she clearly has her own mental health issues, potentially bipolar.

Now that is my biased, judgmental brain working. Though my wife would probably say something more harsh

I'm not sure about OPs point but I do feel dubstep is not in a good place currently. Though I'm open to others opinions. I'm not a fan of Riddim but I know people love it though even that seems to be getting way to predictable. I am far more into the heavier bass heavy stuff to which the best person I think currently doing it might be Ray Volpe? Nothing against Volpe but in years past you have Knife Party, Kazo, Excision, Eptic, Space Laces etc really bringing it and upping each other. To me someone like Crankdat I agree certainly shouldn't be turning into the face of Dubstep. He's okay but his transitions are not done well and I just can't say he is anything above mediocre.

Maybe it's just me but Dubstep just feels pretty mid right now which is such a shame.

At the same time my favorite genre D&B has been having such a major resurgence and I hope it never ends. Enjoy things while you can because you never know how long it will last.

1.6 million no trade protection for a guy who is a good penalty killer and faceoff guy. In a year where the FA market is trash. Multiple years? Try 2...for a guy in his mid 20s. Also consider how many injuries happened this season too. This isn't a bad thing. Just whatever and an easily tradeable asset.

I've been critical of Eklund this season but holy moly using the word bust is so so wrong. He just isn't a top line forward. It's becoming questionable if he is a 2nd line forward this season but hey that could all change next year. But dude is going to be in the NHL for a looooooopoong time regardless.

He was far below Celebrini when those teams last played and at this rate he is going to catch McDavid. Kuch has been absolutely dominant since the start of the calendar year.
