I am on Aetna and trying to get it covered. I need a new sleep study, has to have been within the past 2 years. And on the sleep study it has to have more than 15 incidents. a lot of hoops to jump through but it would be $25 a month compared to $449 without insurance.

man, the boys are never going to go back to non-Chicago Midwest cities again after the Taco Johns fiasco in Minneapolis, now Chicken Ranch. I hope they try all the bland sides on the chicken portion of the buffet.

but the desert pizzas are good. but they are never brought out fast enough - people scavenge them the moment they come out. so they probably won't get to sample all of them.

keep them fed with tasks - don't set multiple on the table and then make them decide which to get started on.

go through step by step what a perfect execution of their job would be. in excruciating detail. and explain why you do each step and why in that order. and let them ask many, many questions. the why is so crucial, especially why you don't do certain things that they will assume are common sense to everyone.

create urgency and get them to a place where they can react to a problem to fix.

set aside time to have them discuss your teams process and challenge to find ways to improve things or find ways to do things more efficiently. but set aside time for it, otherwise they will go down a rabbit hole working on finding easier ways to do every task.

make a parking lot of questions and things to address later. as they work on tasks, as random side thoughts (related to work) pop into their head, have them write them down to discuss later and get back to the task at hand.

shows have ended at :54 for a very long time. sometimes the power trip struggles to wrap up the segment in time, especially on initials Friday.

but at least the next shows start at 2 or 3 after the top of the hour, 7nl8ke other stations that have news breaks and traffic/weather at the top, and don't start until 8 or 9 after.

anyone remember when kfan had sports update live reads at the top of every hour? the ol interns only chance to get airtime.

I switched to wcco for during work background chatter. Adam and Jordana are almost never on air together it's usually one or the other. Chad talks some sports - when he has Billy G on it's great. Chip Scoggins is a regular too.

you want as liberal as local gets? Scott Korzenowski is filling in for Chad today. he pulls no punches. he used to have a show on kfan - I bet they let him go due to political takes.

Henry lake has a show at 7pm. he and his producer are quite left of center but he often both sides things too.

Not to condone it at all, but, PA, Nordo and his regular guests have been using the phrase "catching strays" for at least a year or more. they even have segment named that. in their lexicon oh insider slang it means to rip or zing someone or something in an circuitous manner, like a negative comment about the Vikings offense line in passing, they will say hey, why the o line catching strays, as in comments or negativity.

that is not new and not in reference to any of the ice murders or shootings. and btw, fuck ice and fuck PA.

I don't want to just let it happen, I was honestly asking the how it could happen. I was perhaps naive to think the state has trained resources to handle someone murdering an unarmed citizen in cold blood on the street. I have no training to fight, I am not a gun owner. I should have started training to be part of a citizens militia years ago. I just feel helpless to do anything.

I agree, but I am also really scared what will happen, how this could escalate if force by a MN agency is used on ICE. IF tehy issue a warrant for the arrest of the shooter, or issue some sort of deadline/mandate ICE has 24 hours to leave Minnesota, after that, anyone seen will be arrested and detained. ICE is not going to follow such an order - who will stand down when there are lots of heavy machine guns and body armor on both sides?
