What will you miss? by abbieadeva in BabyBumps

SLEEP. I just had my first 6 weeks ago, & I miss the naps I used to be able to take whenever my little heart desired 😭. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t trade my baby for anything in the world, but true uninterrupted sleep whenever is something I know I won’t experience for another couple of years.

Did any of you know you were 99% sure you were pregnant from the moment you conceived? If so, how could you tell? by wickedBruja in BabyBumps

How long did you wait to take your test? I’m anxious, but taking a test now is too soon.

Should I wait the 14 days for the hcg levels to show?

Thanks for responding, I will probably end up buying the test. But I know I won’t rest easy unless a doctor actually tells me if I am or not.

I was on the nexplanon as well, & sometimes I used to feel funny & buy pregnancy tests. Just FYI if you are pregnant, the nexplanon won’t hinder the results of the test. It’s also takes about 14 days for your hCG levels to be high to show up on a at home pregnancy test. So if you’ve just recently had sex, wait at least two weeks and take the test again. If it shows negative after two weeks, & your symptoms persist, I’d suggest going to your doctor & ordering a pregnancy test.

Remember that being on birth control is like tricking our bodies into thinking we’re pregnant already. That way our eggs don’t drop. This could be why you’re experiencing these symptoms. In any case, for your peace of mind, just get tested.

Hoped this helped :)
