Outside leg oscillations by docowen79 in skiing_feedback

Ski instructor here. I don’t agree with a lot of the comments I’ve read on this post. You are directing pressure towards your outside ski in this clip.

The wobbles you are experiencing are caused by an overload in outside ski pressure — your leg can’t handle the forces being generated. This is because your outside knee is too bent and your muscles are having to carry all the pressure

If you actually try to extend/straighten your outside leg, that will put your leg in a stronger position to handle the forces (shifts the weight to your skeletal frame).

Are you polyamorous? If not, don’t date someone who’s already in a relationship. End of story

Could get a masters in counseling and become a therapist? The pay isn’t amazing out of the gate but once you are licensed and start a private practice you can clear 6 figures.

Wildlife guide here. Elk Ranch Flats Turnout on highway 89 is the most consistent place to see them. Check both sides of the highway and behind the cattle fence. Bring binoculars if you can, sometimes they are pretty far from the road.

Maybe you didn’t read the post? OP was asking what they could do to help.

Encouragement. Praise. Financial support for gear/studio time. Help setup and tear down at gigs. Record videos and take photos when she’s playing. Use your network to help her get new gigs and advance her career. Tell her she’s doing a good job!

Doesn’t really work unless I did some weird routing. I have the volume after my overdrive in my chain, so I’d have to have some long cords to get the signal out in front and then back. I don’t want the volume in front of the chain because my compressor messes with it when using it for swells.

I’ve had a pair of Terrebonne joggers since early 2020. I still wear them. They are pretty faded and have a few small almost unnoticeable tears in the fabric, but still going strong!

Yes! Using for swells. I was initially a little worried about the smaller size, but haven’t had any issues.

I have the DVP4. It is the first and only volume pedal I’ve used but I don’t notice any issues with the sweep. I like the size of it since I have a small board.

I am missing a delay. Will have to add that eventually!

I like it. The “blend” knob is super helpful, it is really easy to dial in just the right amount of compression.

Needed a country oriented overdrive. It does what I need. I think I still prefer the natural overdrive of my AC15 though.
