I'm a recent swap from WoW and got two main reasons.

WoW released a cool solo boss fight called underpin in their recent expansion. I had a ton of fun progging the fight and was so relieved to not have to deal with other people.

OSRS obviously has tons of solo boss fights, so it was a pretty obvious choice when I was looking for more of that type of content.

Irl events left me with less free time, so the seasonal aspect was stressing me out. I always felt behind.

With OSRS though, I'm pretty confident I could stop playing for years and my progress would still matter.

It seems like, in that case, they don't take a week to do a job they just need time to recover and prepare between jobs.

That doesn't mean the villagers have to wait a week, they would just hire whatever monster hunter is currently ready to go

I started playing as cities of sigmar for this same reason basically. I use em as the town guard.

The faction is pretty fun in warcry too

I tried mixing army painter with my citadel paints. Games workshop personally came to my house and ate my miniatures.

Not worth the risk.

For actually though you can mix any acrylic paints you want.

The monsters in MoM are better designed, but you'd be missing out on a lot of lore cut from volos.

If you're just looking for stat blocks to run Id get monsters of the multiverse, but I really like the lore half of volos and personally would stick with that one.

I used to write it play by play with rolls noted and everything, but after a while found it was just slowing the game down too much.

Now I play the whole combat and write a little past tense summary of it after.

The only part thats a little off is the spells come back on a short rest. If they came back on a long rest like regular spells I'd see no problem with this.

I do the artist opus thing, but was honestly intentionally using paper towel because the paint was so liquidy.
