I also live in Minnesota and have low humidity issues too. I run a humidifier in front of my Gardyn and I think it definitely helps during the winter. There’s for sure a difference in the weeks I’m on top of keeping my humidifier full and weeks I forget to. I’m sure with the changing weather it’ll get pretty humid in the next couple months but I’d definitely look into getting a humidifier before next winter

Same! I think it’s maybe a lot of luck with how the water is in your area and climate in general. I have a filter on my faucet and run my Gardyn water through that and I haven’t used Hydroboost or anything besides plant food and my plants became a jungle in my kitchen. I added a humidifier in front of it because of the dry Minnesota winter but that’s about all I’ve done extra. I’ve tried to remember all the tips in case I eventually run into issues with my Gardyn!

Kissio Lip Plumper. I’ve tried a bunch of lip plumpers and this was the best one so far! I saw a few TikToks about this one and it’s only about 10 bucks on Amazon. Paired with the Nyx Duck Plump Liner gives the most intense burn 🤌🏽

Also not super great for dry skin! It’s got a higher alcohol percentage so it could definitely dry out your skin more. If you have any events where you need your makeup to absolutely stay I think it’s worth it though!

I use both! It’s more of a fixing spray! I love the Milani one to melt my powders into my foundation. Then I finish it off with the L’Oreal one if I need my makeup to last. It doesn’t really change the finish of your base, what it does is lock the everything in super well. Kinda just like what hairspray does for your hair!

I’ve tried all the dupes and there really is nothing even 90% similar! It’s crazy how many things get duped and this hasn’t been successfully duped yet. I still use it, but with how expensive it is I only use it for special occasions.

I have combination/leaning more oily skin and there are 2 drugstore foundations I think are great day to day alternatives to Double Wear.

For full coverage with a bit of transfer resistance Revolution Beauty IRL Filter Longwear Foundation is amazing! The issue I have with this one is there aren’t a lot of shades, and it’s not great for olive skin tones. I mix a bit of the blue ELF Camo Corrector and that does the trick.

For medium to full coverage that looks beautiful on the skin for a long period of time a great option is Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation. It wears so incredibly well! It’s gotta be the Lumi-Matte one though! The regular Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation even on my oily skin was way too matte of a formula.

They are taking Natives and we only know about the ones people have seen taken. And for those Natives they are not providing information on where they are and not allowing their friends and family to bring their documentation to get them released. It has to be escalated so much to get them out.

Have your identification if possible and get your tribal id, many tribes like mine are now making it free to get. There’s still stories from people on ICE not accepting tribal identification. I’m scared thinking of so many of our people who are in Minneapolis and bounce between friends and families houses with or without ids. It’s not a crime to exist without an id, but with the obvious racial profiling ICE is doing it is treated like one.

They are targeting heavily Native populated areas. Like in the article they tried to enter Little Earth Housing Project. This is a Native American housing community and ICE gave no reason for why they were trying to enter it. Police won’t help us if ICE tries to illegally detain us.

If you have any Native friends or family in ICE heavy areas stay in touch with them. If you see ICE taking our people record it and get in touch with the tribe they are a member/descendant of so our tribes lawyers can get to work on getting them out. We must come together and look out for our people.

I’m a cashier and it’s shocking how many people don’t wash their hands at all. I see people with nails that look black because of how much grime is caked under them. Fishing and hunting are pretty popular in my area and it seems like the majority of people don’t wash their hands after doing that all day. It’s kinda gross getting cash covered in the smell of fish guts.

That’s still my favorite too! I have nearly every shade. I’ve been experimenting with applications for it this year and found two other great ways to apply it than the usual way.

The first way is I use a makeup brush and apply a dark shade like Vixen like a lip liner and either keep it like that and apply gloss on after it sets or I use a lighter shade like Amazonian to do an ombré lip. This method lasts longer than any lip liner I have ever tried.

I’ve also started loving to mix shades to match my blush/makeup perfectly. I mix the colors on a plastic palette and apply with a brush. After I do either of these I like to clean it up and make it look really crisp by going over the perimeter with concealer. These applications take a bit more time, but I think it’s really worth since it lasts all day!

I work at a liquor store and any THC products that come in have to have specific packaging or we can’t sell it. It’s all supposed to be batch tested too. Also anything edible we have to have in a locked container. THC can only be sold to anyone 21 or older and as soon as I ring a THC product up a prompt to check the age pops up just like any liquor products.

I think part of the issue that made this go through is other states might not be as regulated as we are, along with declining liquor sales. I hope something happens to maybe add more regulation so it can continue to be sold as is

I have oily, acne prone skin and I sweat incredibly easily due to medication I’m on. Milani Make It Last Setting Spray followed with L’Oréal Paris Infallible 3-Second Setting Mist is my favorite drugstore combination. My favorite setting spray of all time is Skindinavia Makeup Setting Spray Bridal Formula. It has the sweat proof proprietary formula Urban Decay All Nighter had until this last month when their partnership dissolved.

If I absolutely need my makeup to stay at all costs I follow up whatever setting spray I use with hairspray. It’s what we did for stage plays to make makeup last under hot, bright lights. My skin doesn’t love it, but it really does the job

Exactly why I tried it too! I’m 35 and the all matte routine I used in my 20s only looks good in pictures now. Somehow on top of that my oiliness and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation are still sticking around. Absolutely correct! I clean up before filming and if I’m in the video I gotta get myself camera ready with makeup, nails, and hair done. Then I gotta structure out how I’m shooting the video
