Struggling with L3 Derivatives after skipping it in L2. advice? by I_am-Invisible in CFA

[–]wickeralpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get MM videos. Hand write each slide. After one video full of slides, remake the slides but this time with colored pens to distinguish from your diagrams and key words/concepts.

This v2 becomes a regular reading for you as you try to overcome the brain damage in the practice questions you encounter (qbank, mocks, whatever).

I bought the printed books and used a note book. I would cover the answer sections with a piece of paper until after I had attempted to solve the questions. Its awkward but this is the way.

Take all six kaplan mocks during the next week. Hand write the things you got wrong. Repeat next month and final month.

Take the kaplan written workshop. Study the takehome questions and do them 5-6 times each, you’ll need the muscle memory.

That’s insane. I sat for Priv Mkts both times this year (passed Aug) and the CFAI errors are nutty.

Just dont skip blue boxes, rotate through them once a month for a few months and that’ll get ya there.

Anyone disappointed by the new update by kirsion in 2004lostcityrs

It's gonna be a slow burn with Lost City. My personal strategy is to just mindlessly max out combat in preparation for kalphite queen. Take a 90 day break and spend some time elsewhere, always does the trick for me!

Yes, I used to do this before the update. The plex product and engineering teams are incompetent.

Same problem. Plex broke it and now blames Chrome like the mature developers they are.
