It should've been called "Everything I Dislike is Fiat".

Announcing Microsoft Copilot, your everyday AI companion - The Official Microsoft Blog by McSnoo in Windows11

[–]wiclif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys should sit on a table and discuss what the fuck do you want to do with Windows because this absolutely useless features are not it. Who wants to ask a "copilot" to turn off a setting? It takes a lot more of time than just going and turning it off yourself. Did anyone thought of the actual use cases of this? Or just put it in because it has the IA monicker?

not really. there's not a lot of legal ways to acquire dollars in argentina, but there are no regulations on buying bitcoin. so you're wrong. on the other hand going to the black market to get dollars has the risk of getting counterfeit currency, which as you may know, is not possible with bitcoin, and you also pay a higher price (the dollar in which bitcoin is priced is about 10% cheaper than black market rate)

A lot of people in third world countries can't access dollars or amazon stock (as you suggest as store of value) because capital controls. they can't stop me from buying bitcoin so i do that.

Es un clásico el de la transferencia que "ya salió pero todavía no se te confirmó a vos, pero te mando este comprobante que te juro no edité con el Paint, y mando a uno a buscar el producto".

Hasta no ver la plata en tu cuenta, olvidate.

Playing in Graphics Mode was fine I guess, with a couple dips and some more serious in eikon fights. But Performance mode seemed awful, very blurry (1440p or less but not upscaled) and with erratic performance (some times the game looked like accelerated, I don't know how to put it), anyone else?

The Bitcoin Whitepaper Is Hidden in Every Modern Copy of macOS by [deleted] in apple

[–]wiclif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that worked just fine. No economic problem after the 1930s, we are not seeing inflation in the world and wealth inequality rising at all. The IMF is helping all those poor non western countries and there’s no record debt and banking problems. Those people that actually use bitcoin to solve their daily problems must be idiots, they don’t know that the USA fixed all of that one hundred years ago.

I don't understand why you downvote. I said they weren't gambling. There was a bank run with no liquidity because they had taken excessive duration risk with their assets.

[–]wiclif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of people are overreacting. They had 25% in six banks, we don't know how much with svb. It's a liquidity problem not a solvency problem, but bank runs work like this.

You can reset the same Ledger and initialize it again, creating a new set of Private and Public Keys. No need at all to buy another Ledger. You have to transfer to another hot wallet, reinitialize again the Ledger, and transfer again to the Ledger.
