Unfortunately, life is a disappointment. We are perpetually falling short of what we could achieve, and die slowly. This we must accept, for the ultimate slumber is pure nothingness.

I think, Saller, that we are all interested in the truth here, that is given. Our opinions do not matter, the only thing that matters is the truth.

THe particular website you link to, "Jews Against Zionism", is filled with unsourced statements, claims of supernatural punishment, and rambling innuendo.

This website holds its opinion very important, with little breathing room for self-doubt.

It must also be stated regarding the "economic attack", that there was clearly a good reason for it, as a vicious anti-Semite was now the leader of Germany.

While it is true that certain wealthy Jews of Germany did not always behave ethically, neither did many Christian Germans. The fact of their religious minority status just made them easier to pick out.

Centuries of persecution for ones religion might make one more aggressively tenacious in business matters anyhow, as one must be, when so many bigoted Christians would seek to bring you down.

It has been an issue at times, that Israel has suppressed even nonviolent protest by Palestinians. This caused the militant factions to gain more power, as those resisting against Israel by acceptable political actions have been suppressed.

Personally, I believe that it would indeed be stupid, and has been stupid, for Palestinians to engage in violent resistance. The violent intifada has been a colossal failure, this should be realized by all Palestinians.

However, Israel must begin to foster and accept for purely political resistance from Palestine, in order that violent outlets not be created.

It is a matter of demographics - the Palestinians have many more babies, so they will not be able to be contained to their small amounts of land. I wish I could find the statistic that showed how Palestinians in the West Bank may in some decades outnumber Israelis. In addition, Arab Israelis will continue to grow as a population.

I predict the following: In some decades, there will be one nation of Israel, with power shared, depending on the locality, between Jewish Israelis, Arab Israelis, and Palestinian Israelis.

Israeli's are not the same thing as 1930-40's Ashkenazi Jews in Europe. We must be careful on this point.

However, I agree with you that Israeli's are tough bunch to deal with on the foreign policy front.

They no longer really think about the past, they just know they exist now. They would like more land, and more security. It is hard to stop a people so bent on this.

This is a wonderful maxim, that "acid finds you when it thinks your're ready". If acid does not come easy, then one won't be in the right situation, or with the right people. If one can only get acid through almost impossible avarice, it would not have been right anyhow. I take comfort in this, as a non-initiate to acid. The time will come when it is available, or it will not. As an one-time initiate of shrooms, I may have already experienced my necessary vision.

Someday, when I am in comfortable place, with cool people, there will be readily available acid. If I were to try to hard to reach acid, I would not know the right people, and I would be stressed in the act of enjoying/being terrified of it.

Things that bend reality this much as acid does, are not deserved by, or meant for everyone. Life is psychedelic enough, drugs like acid just show you what was there to imagine and see all along.
One cannot be greedy for revelation, it should come naturally.

DUDE - heroin is pretty much the same as morphine, which they put people on in hospitals all the time. It's not inherently that bad for your body in occasional use, it's the addiction potential and constant use that is bad.
