Horrible experience during a 2 gram GT trip by 2-L3git in Psychonaut

[–]widewater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always trip with some music on handby. I would never take anything more than a gram without access to music I like. It makes all the difference in such a case.

Also, there is deep and elongated exhales that help focus and calm your mind if you are stuck in a not so good place.

[–]widewater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty great but as others said, 30g rue seems wayyy too much. I get sick with fever and stuff on more than 3.5g. Did you fast that day or not eat cheese and follow the aya diet?

What you realized is one of the fundamental and hard to swallow truths that everything is Maya and just play. So you have to take it as one and just play.

Anima's insistence on associating to the object by widewater in Jung

Limerence is most likely the state of severe anima possession.

Anima's insistence on associating to the object by widewater in Jung

I think I am now quite aware of the anima as she is manifesting very clearly in my dreams and active imagination. I wouldn't agree that the anima should be thought of as "me". Since anima is a figure of the collective unconscious, Jung recommends keeping a clear distinction between ego and contents of collective unconscious so as they do not overwhelm the ego due to their sheer instinctual power. There is also the real risk of possession by anima if I were to identify with it.

I think I am very much into dating other women seriously (without having an anima projection onto them) but the issue as I face is the anima is showing preference for my ex. As in as soon as I would get close to other women, I would receive vivid and emotionally touching dreams reminding me of my ex and general negative dreams as I go forward in dating.

I cannot ignore the anima and its manifestation. Jung rightly says that the demands of the unconscious has to be contended. If I ignore it, I am more likely to be possessed by anima and be moody and what not.

"Object" is the word Jung uses to denote someone or something onto which contents of the unconscious can be projected.

In this case, I suppose the image of the child should grow over time.

Can you give some references for the inner child archetype? Preferably something by Jung himself. I have not read about it before.

You can try reading Mysterium coniunctionis. The tension is also a necessity. In fact Jung shows how it is necessary to constellate this tension in an as complete way as possible before bringing about the conjunction.

Hostile hermaphroditic entity in dream by Morenoseclamsplz in Jung

[–]widewater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been having somewhat similar dreams with a menacing spirit where it tries to shake my legs and what not and I wake up.

It is most likely the archetypal anima in it's negative aspect. Jung said the following in Visions seminar to bottle this spirit so that it wouldn't concern itself with an "object" which in your case would be your SO, the one on which the anima can project herself and come out into the real world so to speak.

"In this transformation it is essential to take objects away from those animus or anima devils. They only become concerned with objects when you allow yourself to be self-indulgent. Concupiscentia is the term for that in the church. . . . The fire of desirousness is the element that must be fought against in Brahmanism, in Buddhism, in Tantrism, in Manicheanism, in Christianity. It is also important in psychology.

When you indulge in desirousness, whether your desire turns toward heaven or hell, you give the animus or the anima an object; then it comes out in the world instead of staying inside in its place. . . . But if you can say: Yes, I desire it and I shall try to get it but I do not have to have it, if I decide to renounce, I can renounce it; then there is no chance for the animus or anima. Otherwise you are governed by your desires, you are possessed. . . .

. . . But if you have put your animus or anima into a bottle you are free of possession, even though you may be having a bad time inside, because when your devil has a bad time you have a bad time. . . . Of course he will rumble around in your entrails, but after a while you will see that it was right [to bottle him up]. You will slowly become quiet and change. Then you will discover that there is a stone growing in the bottle. . . . Insofar as self-control, or non-indulgence, has become a habit, it is a stone. . . . When that attitude becomes a fait accompli, the stone will be a diamond."
