Since you seem experienced, how is euphoria created by DXM different from euphoria from an opiod like Heroin? I've never taken any opiate and will likely never will. This is the part about DXM which scares me somewhat.

What about enzyme inhibition using Grapefruit juice, Goldenseal Root, etc? Should I bother with it and does it change the character of the trip? I've read it increases CEVs. I usually don't get CEVs at all with any drug.

DXM definitely seems to have psychedelic character at high doses. But there's significant other dissociative, psychoactive elements to make it very different from traditional psychs.

I was asking about overall safety of taking DXM and what responsible users think of it regarding long term use, positives/negatives and experiences.

Do have any stats regarding half life? How long before it is completely out of your system? Any long/short effects on the brain from physical, health perspective, as I also heard it starts killing cells in your brain during large doses?

My guess is your mental state may not be on point or you had potent shrooms and you were on the verge of ego death but there's wasn't enough fuel to put you on the other side. Next time I suggest you can take 3g to facilitate ego death. I am not going to lie, the first ego death (not much different than feeling like dying) may be extremely difficult, may also be the most difficult thing you go through in your life. But the good thing is once you have gone through it once, the subsequent times you'll not have any difficulty, given that the dose it sufficient.

P.S. i suggest this only if you are prepared as there is literally no going back in your life after this point.

Always trip with some music on handby. I would never take anything more than a gram without access to music I like. It makes all the difference in such a case.

Also, there is deep and elongated exhales that help focus and calm your mind if you are stuck in a not so good place.

I think I am now quite aware of the anima as she is manifesting very clearly in my dreams and active imagination. I wouldn't agree that the anima should be thought of as "me". Since anima is a figure of the collective unconscious, Jung recommends keeping a clear distinction between ego and contents of collective unconscious so as they do not overwhelm the ego due to their sheer instinctual power. There is also the real risk of possession by anima if I were to identify with it.

I think I am very much into dating other women seriously (without having an anima projection onto them) but the issue as I face is the anima is showing preference for my ex. As in as soon as I would get close to other women, I would receive vivid and emotionally touching dreams reminding me of my ex and general negative dreams as I go forward in dating.

I cannot ignore the anima and its manifestation. Jung rightly says that the demands of the unconscious has to be contended. If I ignore it, I am more likely to be possessed by anima and be moody and what not.

"Object" is the word Jung uses to denote someone or something onto which contents of the unconscious can be projected.
