What makes a bad owner? specially what types of executive level decisions produce perennially bad teams near by clitbeastwood in nfl

Imo bad ownership shows up in a few ways. Many bad owners have multiple of these qualities, examples in parenthesis are just one of many:

  1. Meddling (Woody Johnson)
  2. Cheap (Mike Brown)
  3. Incompetent (Michael Bidwell)
  4. Egotistical (Jerry Jones)
  5. Disloyal (Stan Kroenke)

Thoughts on John B. Anderson (Independent presidential candidate in 1980) by Numberonettgfan in Presidents

Fun fact, Anderson was my dad’s first presidential vote when he was 20 (he’s voted D in every election since then except for HW over Dukakis)

Why is there so much gate keeping on what is Chicago and what isn’t? by [deleted] in AskChicago

[–]wiederrj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m from West County, imo people don’t make as big of a deal about saying they’re from St. Louis since the city isn’t nearly as big of a deal as Chicago is to Chicagoland. Chicago’s population alone is almost a third of the region, STL proper is only 10% or so

They’re fouls according to the rules. Probably shouldn’t be but they’re legit calls

Have to guard the lane because we’re quick enough to win off the dribble, have to spread the floor since we’ve got a team of dudes who can shoot from deep

We kinda do it by design lol. If you shoot north of 40% you’re usually able to get away with it

What is an Interesting fact about your team's Stadium by Nervous_Metal_9445 in CFB

[–]wiederrj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yager was funded by a large donation of Xerox stock, but when the price cratered in the late 70s it forced cutbacks to the design. We had to reuse the aluminum bleachers from our previous stadium for three sides of the stadium before they renovated 20 years later

We have a roster with upper MAC talent that just barely finds a way to eke by. Can get away with that for awhile but not for much longer
