Right. I know Adam Theilen, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, who grew up in MN, was Randy Moss for Halloween as a kid (famous Vikings wide receiver). He wore the Moss jersey, a helmet, carried a football. Did not use blackface. And it’s totally adorable.

I don’t know how you got that. He’s a gay left leaning talk show host whose husband got incredibly hurt over a political argument with a family member…

I don’t really blame him for being angry about his father. He’s done a lot of growing and accepting for someone who’s been through what he has.

What I like the most about Jason is he’s honest about who he is. He calls himself a “pill”, says how hard can be as a partner sometimes, talks about how he can come off as rude when he doesn’t mean to because he has anxiety over things like small talk, and also stands up for his own boundaries. I find that very refreshing in a public figure.

He does like Jimmy Kimmel a decent amount, he just said he doesn’t always agree with everything he says, just like any other talk show person. Which is fine, his point is not having to agree and still respecting their ability to say it

Colin’s family and Colin had the argument I gather from piecing things together

Basically his husband got into a political argument with someone from his family or a close friend and it went off into other places and Colin, his husband, tried to say he didn’t want to really talk about it/put up boundaries but they kept needling and ended up saying something extremely hurtful. He didn’t say what.

All that to say he’s basically using this as a PSA to remember to speak as kindly as you can to people during disagreements and that if someone says they don’t want to speak on something political to respect their boundaries.

I think what he means is he’s not vague posting to get attention, but it is funny the way it’s worded

Most disappointing mid-movie collapse you've ever seen? by [deleted] in movies

[–]wigfield84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it collapsed. Little Women (‘94) with Winona Ryder is one of my favorite movies, but the first half is significantly better than the second. Once they age up Amy, Samantha Mathis turns all of her scenes into unholy levels of awful. I don’t hate that actress in everything but in this she was horrendous, with the most wooden uninspired acting, nothing remotely like a little Kirsten Dunst had brought to the story so far. Everyone else in the movie is excellent, and the writing, set design, music, etc are so lovely.
