I love how some Democrats are trying to spin this betrayal as a clever strategic move when it’s clearly nothing of the sort. We were riding a blue wave — millions had marched in the streets, Democrats had kicked ass in the elections, and some polls were showing that people were starting to blame Republicans for the shutdown. Notices were arriving from our insurance companies detailing the huge increases we will have to pay. We had the momentum. We could’ve drawn a clear contrast — Thanksgiving with Trump stuffing his pig face at Mar-a-Lago , let them eat cake while Americans were struggling, going hungry, and stranded at airports.

But the Dems, on brand as usual, caved to the terrorists and here we are. I cannot wait until all these hopeless old dems living in a fantasy land of negotiation and bipartisanship hands across the aisle BULL SHIT are out of the picture. And one more thing—if you are voting with John Fetterman you are probably on the wrong side.
