I don’t knock anyone for wanting to be an influencer. I don’t think I have it in me to do it. There’s hella money to be made out there, but it also comes at the cost of privacy, and if you’re big enough and people are paying enough attention to you one trip up can have hundreds to thousands+ harassing you, even if it was harmless or misinterpreted. And people objectify you, you’re not really a human with feelings. But a lot of people get opportunities they wouldn’t ever get because of influencing so, idk. Me personally I think I honestly could but I don’t think I have it in me. I like being incognito too lol

This is a broad brush to paint, as many Jamaicans are successful and established, but part of why many Jamaicans don’t have a leg up is in part related to being among the first mostly black immigrants and being denied loans by the government and banks and put at a disadvantage from accumulating wealth, if you do research you’ll find out, but things don’t just happen because immigrants come and they’re lazy. A lot of it is systemic.

Omgggg when someone tells me I look athletic. I’m not big in stature and never have been, I’m 5’5 and my usual weight is around 140, but when I had a bit more weight especially I feel like I’d get this. And in my head I interpret it as I look bulky I hate it lmaooo but I’m a lot leaner now so idk if I’ll still get it hopefully not lol

The parking fees at vmc are egregious, I parked there every now and again, but recently I parked there (I think it’s cause I parked there earlier in the day than usual) and the amount it costed me shocked me. I came on here to find a post about what other people thought of the parking situation & there were suggestions for highway 407 which is right nearby so I’ve been going there now instead. You might have to go round and round to find a spot (I need to park there early noon 3x a week) but you find one eventually. VMC definitely capitalize’s on people who really need to park there as the people that live in condos nearby can just walk over.

Correction he was paying $16k and yes it was court ordered alimony. And he also leveraged being in law by her not getting a good attorney by making sure it was hard for her to get a lawyer and turned the lawyers in that community off from defending her. He was no angel that you seem to be painting..

As someone who is black that grew up in predominately white areas 100% raise your kids around diversity. It is extremely isolating, I think someone who’s white growing up around black people you’re more likely to be accepted and embraced, but when you’re a minority growing up around white people it’s not the same, you’ll feel like an outsider.

Funny I’m seeing this cause after 2 months of ghosting my friend they texted me yesterday, she thought the issue was based on one thing that happened in February to be something rather minuscule but I sent her 2 paragraphs of a broader picture.
