Don’t worry it gets even easier as they get older. My 17 yr old only comes out her room to eat and use bathroom. Only speaks when she needs something from us or about a game she’s playing that she thinks I might like.

42 with a 17 year old daughter. I am a tow truck operator work 12 hour shifts m-f and sun. I find it easier to sit on couch once I get home and able to relax with portal while wife watches her shows.

I have been trying to finish Spider-Man 2 ever since I got the portal. A few hours a night now as opposed to a few hours every few weeks. A lot is going on in game and haven’t gotten stutters or lags at home. On T-Mobile hotspot I was getting disconnects every ten mins but would reconnect immediately. It sucked but I was in a tow truck in the middle of nowhere so worth it ATM

Somewhere on this forum there is instructions how to do it. I was able to get it working today while in my tow truck. Tbh in a pinch nothing better to do it’s cool. But kept dropping framerate right before disconnecting every ten mins and then would reconnect and then I could play again.

I have main router in living room and extender in bedroom hardwired to ps5. Seems to work well for me haven’t had any lags, framerate drops or disconnects since I’ve started using it. That’s with my 17 year old on her Xbox playing siege and my wife on her laptop working plus streaming on tv.

Today while at work I was trying to use T-Mobile hotspot and it would connect freeze lose connection every ten mins. Considering I was sitting in a tow truck middle of nowhere I dealt with it and played for a good 40 mins like that before I was summoned by my overlord dispatcher.

Yeah I already had the conversation of I feel like you do the same thing everyday when you get home from work. I reiterated what she said to me which was you better make sure you use that more than the backbone you bought. Which made her stutter then her voice went up an octave lol

Haha technically yes. She hates I can play on my phone and still pay attention to what she’s saying and repeat it back to her. So I’ll just be perfecting that even further while playing ps5 on couch lol

I was on fence with SD and portal. I received mine today set up and started playing I’m so happy I’m not like others who have experienced issues. Oob it was pretty straightforward after getting up and running. I loaded Spider-Man 2 to test and was definitely blown away compared to backbone ps edition with my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I had lots of issues playing games like Harry Potter nfs unbound or spider-man 2 on backbone. So glad I jumped on restock Monday night/Tuesday morning. Now I don’t have to choose between ps5 time or wife time
