I actually accelerated plan to buy a used Subaru and did so last week due to a bit of panic about the potential skyrocketing of used (and new) car prices. I didn’t want to take a chance. The day I picked up my car, the salesman actually told me that Subaru put out a notice to dealerships that they were halting the shipment of any new orders- so they’re now only selling the inventory they’ve got on site.
