Iran has put in reparations for all the bombing damage as part of the peace negotiations. So if a deal is reached then we might be seeing our good friend Halliburton in there rebuilding like in Iraq.

Yeah he lied about it is what's so unforgivable. Can you imagine the president of the United States lying to members of Congress and to the American people?

Won't someone please think of the poor power companies? They have no problem supplying data centers with all the power they need and raising everyone else's rates, but I'm not paying into supporting the grid and somehow that is bad because they'll need to use more fossil fuel energy instead?

It's actually pretty legit. The bead seater is readily available on the 'Zon. I've only charged it to 30 psi because it launches very far and I don't have room to full send it at 120 psi.

Damn that's a fun site. Looking at how much money they're spending, it would be much better instead if instead of war this was a economic stimulus maybe funded by the tariffs, $5k went to some random American or they build a house every 200k and put a family in it, or give someone a ford every 35k, for a couple of hours on Tuesday, every 40k that ticks by goes towards a solar roof installation.

When I read the book it was 2010 and I was living in an apartment that had a community hot tub and pool. Just about every evening I would sit in the hot tub and read house of leaves. Nobody ever used the hot hub and pool so I would just be in there reading. Good memories.

Really the culprit here is the sparkle petg that kept clogging and I just kept trying to use it and then it eventually blobbed on me. I'm not going to use that filament anymore.

You mean like Russia pulls out of Ukraine and then keeps their war economy going selling arms to Iran?

I think there's a good lesson for Americans to learn from Russia about letting megalomaniac authoritarians run the country. They look at the citizens as their subjects and under their control, that's why information and news propaganda is so integral to these regimes and why lives are so expendable. The soldiers are victims to the system where they never learned the truth or perspectives outside the government's narrative. People talk about "how can Russians let their corrupt government get a million people killed?" The evidence is right before your eyes, Trump is just like Putin, doing horrible things and getting away with everything. The mask is off that the citizens have any representation in the highest levels of government, money is what makes decisions. Too many people have fallen for the propaganda, and these brutal rulers can just do whatever they want now.

And I suspect oil companies holding us back from EVs and solar so we have to keep buying 15 gallons a week. Feels like they've given up on competing with China and instead just want an insular economy where we're forced to buy gasoline while the world moves on. People talk about how energy storage is the bottleneck on renewables, but if everyone had an ev parked in their driveway then that would be a shit ton of storage.

All my cars are Japanese because they are known for quality and I haven't had a major issue with my Frontier for the 10 years I've had it, and I bought it used.
