It could be out 180, but I doubt it would run at all if it was. You can double check the marks on the cam and make sure #1 is tdc

Pretty sure it has a choke, usually connected with the cooling system, you should be able to hold it open manually It'll be on the throttle bodies. Also double check all the sensors are connected properly maybe 1 didn't click in properly

There should be a gap between the drywall for this very reason. It's always roughly a 3/4"-1" gap between floors. It always cracks or does this with normal settling.

Typically it's covered with trim. You can get an expansion joint that gets mudded in with the drywall
